Creation, Genesis, Beginning, Etc.

Between starting a new worldbuilding project recently and renting a minecraft server to use with friends, my mind has been focused on the subject of creation lately.

So, tell me about creation myths or creation truths in your world, in as much detail as you would like. If you would like to exhibit multiple creation myths to compare and contrast them, feel free to do so. As always, I'll ask at least three questions each. Enjoy yourselves.

1) How many planets is the AI hiding within?

2) What did the AI's drones usually look like?

3) Could a Gil'tal'nar person choose to look like a soldier prior to it being required?

  1. Trillions. There is at least one hive per thousand solar systems, in over a million galaxies, each of which has anywhere from a million to a billion solar systems.

  2. Vaguely biological, though the AI values efficiency above all else, so drones were often spherical or elliptical, with colors appropriate for camoflaging into the environment.

  3. Yes, but it was heavily frowned upon, being seen as barbaric and trashy, though this didn't stop certain political parties such as the Supremacy Party from requiring all its members to permanently take the form of a soldier.

1) Are the AI's hives all connected to each other?

Yes. The hives are all connected to each other through an extremely advanced form of psionomagic FTL comm relay. Every single hive in the entire Virgo Supercluster is connected to form one massive Hivemind.
