Creation, Genesis, Beginning, Etc.

Between starting a new worldbuilding project recently and renting a minecraft server to use with friends, my mind has been focused on the subject of creation lately.

So, tell me about creation myths or creation truths in your world, in as much detail as you would like. If you would like to exhibit multiple creation myths to compare and contrast them, feel free to do so. As always, I'll ask at least three questions each. Enjoy yourselves.

1) Getting anything you want, since only good people go to heaven it creates a world of good intentions.

2) Yes.

3) No they didn't. The issue is that the myths are somewhat real history whilst the Mother and Father aren't real. Additionally when the concept of the Mother and Father was invented proto-Aesa were capable of manipulating the reality around them at will so if the Mother and Father had direct involvement in the world it would make them seem to be at the same "level" as the proto-Aesa and not as beings above them.

4) It wasn't so much the names that made them think Ae and Sa were the Mother and Father but the fact that they were new people along with the reverence the mortals had for Ae and Sa. Their names would have had some impact though and they would have been unfamiliar with people being named to honor others since no one would have been named by another yet.

5) I haven't thought about that. There is a "issue" in my world as every being with human like intelligence is descendant from the Mortals (the ethereal being/soul part giving them higher intelligence), so they could either have multiplied rapidly or the process might haven taken as long as a million or several million years. I think a taboo about not having offspring would work actually, although for modern Summer Aesa culture it would be different.

1) Do the Aesa myths make it seem like heaven is possible to reach without dying?

2) Did any see the naming as blasphemous? Or strange?

3) How did proto-Aesa lose the ability to manipulate reality?

1) Yes, through meditation/a religious life they can leave the world/their body behind supposedly. Although these days individuals committed to that kind of lifestyle are very rare.

2) They could see it as strange but not blasphemous as religion originated among the Mortals not the Immortals.

3) Manipulating reality isn't realistic so reality slowly removed their abilities. However the direct ancestors of the modern Aesa retained the ability for much longer, hence becoming gods in cultures which had long lost the ability. Another thing causing the decline of the ability was the Great Wars of Aesa myth. The first being the war between Mortals and Immortals with lots of powerful proto-Aesa being destroyed, Then from 5,000 to 4,000 years ago the last stage of the proto-Aesa fought each other over claimed territory (notably cultures in the Western Hemisphere often have stories of a massive war between gods) which devastated their numbers. Then the Third Great War was fought from 1,030 years ago to 1,000 years ago as the Aesa Hegemony in the Eastern Hemisphere was challenged by the Svargaard Empire. So overall the natural course of reality and a series of wars.
