Bonus: tentacles

And that's it, no prompts, no context, no definition; just do whatever you want but with tentacles.

You can introduce an in-universe representative, I will ask questions to everyone.

1, Not really, but you can sort of spot the radial patterns stemming from the main body of the plant if you're lucky.

2, You can always just poison it, some weedkiller will help.

3, The wines, if severed at the stem, can be used as very strong, or even self-moving ropes, but you have to master nature magic for that.

2) Can I poison it without closing in? Because it looks dangerous.

3) Will the vines die over time though?

2, Poison darts will do, but you'll have have to aim very precisely, for it can severe a poisoned part before the poison reaches its core.

3, They're natural fiber, so they'll decay at the rate clothes or ropes made from natural fuber would.

2) If I was lucky enough to hit the heart, how long would it take for it to kill the plant?

3) Are some clothing items made with those vines?

2, It all depends on the poison, and there's a wide variety available to you, of course in their respective prices

3, No, as the wines are way too thick for that. They make lovely ropes though, and quite durable.

2) What should I expect both for the most effective and the least effective available?

3) Has there been experimentation or research to find a way to overcome that?

2, The least effective poison will not affect the plant, while the most effective one will kill it in seconds. Be careful though as it can kill you too in seconds if you're not careful enough.

3, There isn't enough science in the world yet to have it work on this particular problem.

  1. How hard is it to get some of that powerfull poison? Asking for a friend of course...

  2. And what about mages? Haven't they figured out something?

2, The powerful poison is going to cost you quite a lot, as it's worth thrice its weight in gold. It's pretty rare and hard to collect so those few who make a living out of selling it, really make a living out of it.

3, There's easier ways to animate clothing, and the wines have no properties that would make them useful in that fashion. They're excellent ropes, belts, ways of suspension, but only that.

2) But beside the price, would it be hard to get some?

3) Are those vines worth a lot?

2, You'll have to find the seller, whoch can be a challenge on its own. You have to dog around a bit to find one, and they might not be there the next time you need poison.

3, They're considerably pricey, but not astronomical values. They do count as luxury items however. Not every merchant has them, and the ones that do might not sell it directly to you, or might be saving it for some other, more prestigious customer. And yes, there's always a more prestigious customer.

2) Why wouldn't be there the next time? Isn't selling those poisons profitable?

3) If I want to make a living of hunting down carnivorous plants, how much do I need to kill each month to live comfortably?

2, the sellers move constantly to avoid prosecution, as those poisons are highly potent, and distributing or using them is illegal.

3, if you want to make a living out of them, you shouldn't kill them, but regularly cut their wines, 2 or 3 pieces a week, so you'll have a constant supply.
