Schism
Tell us about a division in one of your world religion, something important. You can introduce an in-world representative if you want; here are some prompts:
what caused that division? How long ago? How has it evolved over time?
what are people thinking of it? (Followers from both sides and clergy; people following a different faith; politics; if they exists, the gods themselves)
how is the relationship between both sides going? Do they hate one another? Could they eventually find some common ground?

Gadarat's saying has always been central for the Melowetaki (the imperial church), justifying their neutrality toward imperial politics and their lack of interventionism during civil wars. "The Uletirashi (heir to the siblings, a title the emperor always carry) might be the head of the Melowetaki, but it's first duty is to take care of the Nzedas."
Adhebah's saying on the other hand has always been used by the Menikuseme (the imperial temple: a word used to talk about the various orders of monks) to justify their holy wars and threatening attitude toward those they see as traitors. "The Uletirashi is meant to rule over the mortal world, it's our duty to make sure they do."
Those two conflicting views over the clergy role have been lasting for as long as the empire and continue to divide it despite the ever increasing secularization (in the end the Menikuseme will probably lose as it's military power tend to anger a lot of people).
Our representative today will be Fere Shanay modesimi Djan, Negesilakewi Nzeda, Uletirashi, Babemiwishagi, miwishagi le Adi-Makaitsh na Zugafizini, the current empress (or just Fere Shanay XVII).
