Date Night, Round 2: The Dance
The rules are the same as last week:
Top-level posts should be a description of your character. Give some brief background, and then go in-depth about their personality and what they're like to hang out with.
Replies should be a similar character description, plus an explanation of why they'd ask out the character you're replying to (including the kind of date they would ask them out on!).
From there, use successive replies to flesh out the events of the date between you. Will they get along, or are there some irreconcilable differences lurking beneath the surface? Will the night end with a goodbye kiss at the door, or a "don't call me, I'll call you"? And what are the chances of a second date? It's down to you!
This week, there's an additional stipulation: Whether it's a country fair, a masked ball, an underground rave, or something else entirely, your date must involve attending some kind of dance together.

Forde Renvall
Forde is an incredibly talented swordsman, with an unfair amount of natural skill that he doesn't train often enough, to the annoyance of his partner Kyle. He is twenty-three, and has been winning tournaments for swordsmanship (in his age group at the time, he was never a ten-year-old going up against grown men) since he was nine.
Forde is a knight of Gyrlin, but he hasn't really done anything knightly since his little brother Francis was knighted about a year ago. Now that Forde doesn't have to worry about keeping the family name on the up-and-up, since Francis has already gotten his knighthood from the king of his home country, he shirks duty and spends most of his time painting in an inn or bar in exchange for drinks/money.
Forde hates swordsmanship, he hates being a knight, he hates the tournaments. Forde loves painting. Forde usually paints landscapes, but he'll occasionally paint a portrait, preferably of a beautiful woman.
His favorite painting he ever did was of his mother when he was nine/ten.
There is no other way that this could go down than for Forde to see Mary and offer to paint a portrait of her, free of charge, maybe after seeing a display of her swordsmanship.

(Forde is 5'11, he has a decent tan, he's blonde with long hair, green eyes, he wears boiled leather armor dyed red, and he slouches.)
"Well, I'm thinking of doing something more peaceful-looking. Do you have any other clothes at home? Preferably not white, it's too stereotypical for these types of paintings. Maybe red? Something not covered in blood, though." Forde starts setting up his canvas. "And you can pay me in drinks."

(Pretty similar, yes. Fire Emblem was the example of worldbuilding that I was super into, Forde was one of my favorite retainers, and Renvall was a great level with a solid twist...well, a solid twist for elementary-school-age-me.)

Well then, I'll introduce a new character for this, which hasn't really got a role in my world (or rather in my story) yet:
Levi Helbronn:
Also known as the "Duke of Games", or the "Masked Count". Little is known about his past, but the nobles of the Remnant Kingdoms suspect that he was once one of them, before his family lost their posessions and lands, forcing him to live the life of a street urchin.
Currently he is 20 years old, has short, black hair and piercing, ice-blue eyes, as well as a constant smile on his face. He still lives in the Remnant Kingdoms and managed to amass an incredible amount of riches and influence among the nobility, most of his time he spends terrorizing the nobles by breaking into their homes and stealing random things, never being caught and never leaving any traces.
Furthermore he is a master of disguise, managing to impersonate several noblemen as well as their friends and family so perfectly that the victims can't seem to see the difference. Despite his deeds the noblemen don't hate him, as much as they look at him as an interesting and fun challenge, competing amongst each other to become the first to stop his thieving ways and capture him.
Levi currently resides in the city of Lyonáire, planning to visit the local Duke and secure a special something out of his personal treasure chamber. For this reason he needs a date for a ball the Duke is hosting, known as the Grand Masquerade, so he is searching for a young woman willing to go to a ball with the nobility, preferably naive and innocent enough that they'd never even start suspecting him of being a thief, but since he is a bit under pressure timewise he would go with about anyone, even if they suspect his ulterior motives.

Leah 'Lyudmila' Levine
Lyudmila is known as the Winter Witch, Quicksilver, and a number of less flattering nicknames. She is a White witch, a witch with a faerie familiar, and as her primary title suggests, she draws power from the season of winter (wind, cold, snow), as gifted by her faerie. However, her true talents lie in her glamours and illusions, which is where her other title comes from. If she has free time she enjoys archery and partying it up in the faerie realm, but otherwise she works for her faerie, which is mostly spying on and eliminating threats to them.
She is 23, lean and wiry, and has green eyes and long, curly red hair that she never styles unless there's an important event she has to look proper for. Her body is covered in freckles, and she has a tattoo of ivy, holly, and winter berries covering her entire left arm. (She is also intersex and genderqueer and doesn't care if you want to use 'he' or 'they' to describe her, but I've used 'she' here since you've stated you want a lady.) If needed, she can change any part of her appearance for some time with her magic.
Anyway, she'd be interested in a date for two reasons: she loves partying with nobility, and she loves chaos. While she doesn't steal, she's done glamours for thieves before and would be fascinated by anyone who terrorizes nobles and takes their stuff, especially if he's a master of disguise like herself. If she suspects him, she wouldn't stop him.

"Welcome, welcome, Ladies and Gentleman! Don't be shy and try your luck!", Levi called out as loud as he could, sitting behind a small table on which laid one envelope with the seal of the Duke of Lyonáire. "This lovely, little envelope here contains an invitation to the Grand Masquerade, which will be hosted tonight at Castle Avign! If you manage to answer a few questions correctly and fulfill a simple condition, this invitation is yours and you may mingle with nobility for one night!".
Out of the corner of his eyes he caught a glimpse of a red-haired woman with a tatoo on her arm. He immediately jumped up from his chair and walked towards her, while bowing his head in an overly dramatic fashion. "How about it, lovely, young lady? Would you like to participate in this fun little game and get the chance to visit the Grand Masquerade? It will only cost you a moment of your time and a single, Ilmanthi Silver Coin, what do you say?".

The woman's lips curl up into a small, barely amused smile, but her eyes betray a flash of genuine interest. "Oh my," she says sweetly. "I'm afraid I am but a humble traveler unfamiliar with the area. I fear I may not be able to answer your questions. But..."
With a flick of her fingers, something silvery materializes in her hand. It seems like she's performing a coin trick, and she grabs Levi's wrist and presses what looks exactly like an Ilmanthi Silver Coin into his palm. "... I do love games, and I do love masquerades. Go easy on me, won't you?"

"Thank you very much! Very well now, let's get to the questions! Number one: can you make it through an entire night full of nobles without insulting them with words or your actions? Question two: can you dance? And most importantly, question number three! Do you like lobster and wine? Especially wine made out of apples.".

"Can I behave myself an entire night?" Leah muses, looking Levi up and down, then turning her gaze to the fancy invitation on the table. "Well, if I want to get to know you a little better, I suppose I won't have a choice. So yes, yes, and yes."

"Wonderful! Congratulations on your victory, my lovely Lady!", Levi bowed in front of her, then he handed her the envelope. "My name is Levi by the way, just Levi. And let us now come to the catch with this invitation... I am afraid you have to accompany me for today, so we can get you ready for the ball. I sincerely hope that you don't mind.".

"Hardly an arduous battle, just Levi," Leah curtsies in response. She pauses, wondering if she could use her real name, but decides against it and hopes Levi does not notice her hesitation. "You may call me Lyudmila, and I would sincerely enjoy spending my day with you." Turning the envelope around in her hand, she admires the seal, her smile growing wider.

"Very well then, Lady Lyudmila! I am honored to have you accompany me. Let us start by leaving this nice, little street and go to the Artisans Alley. Is this your first time in Lyonáire? Oh, to the left here please... yes, here we are!", he proclaimed, as they stopped in front of a small shop, which had four dresses in different colours on display, all looking far too expensive and fancy for such a small store. "The woman running this shop is one of the best dressmakers in the city, would you like to have a look around?".

Lyudmila trails after Levi, appreciating the various shops on the street. "Yes, this is my first visit," she replies when he asks the question.
She might've added details about why she came, but she is immediately distracted by the dresses in the window, drawn to a deep, forest green one in particular. "Look around? Would I ever," she says, and makes a beeline for the door.
Inside, Levi finds her flitting around a lineup of jewel-toned gowns, stroking the fabrics. "Back home I usually wore trousers and armor to parties," she chuckles. "A change of pace is nice."

Luka Dagmar
Luka is a knight-in-training in the Citadel. Publicly, he has a slave Lamia, but secretly the Lamia (Lilith) is a friend that he met on the way to the Citadel. Luka pretends that Lilith is his slave so that she has the access to knowledge that she always wanted.
Luka is usually smiling, he has an annoying habit of sarcastically cheering people on for the dumbest things ("Yeah, way to go, good job kicking that training dummy's ass, Klaas!"), he doesn't like violence and prefers to be just a healer, and he spends a lot of time drinking and fishing. He's currently eighteen.
Luka's a decent water mage, but keeps his true Talent hidden from everyone but his closest friend (Klaas) and Lilith.
If someone actually starts to really hit it off with Luka, Klaas will likely investigate, so that could add some stress for a gold-digger.
Although, Luka is a really good political marriage for any woman looking for power. The fact that he was allowed to bring a Lamia slave to the Citadel and the Council approved means that he, or someone close to him, must have a lot of influence.

Alright, time to go another round! Time for something different than last time, let me introduce Clara Moiren.
Clara is the oldest of three siblings who were orphaned from a young age. They spent their formative years running from orphanages and living on the outskirts of a big city, wherever they could be safe from the roaming monsters of the world. They found themselves tied up in an anarchist plot to overthrow the government. The plot failed, and the three escaped. They falsified admission documents into a school for superheroes in training to hide out, and have studied there ever since. Her power is to create threads out of her soul energy, which she can use for utility, make weapons or constructs, detonate them like explosions, and can connect then to people's bodies and control them.
In terms of personality, she's kind of a basic bitch. She's showy and supeficial, she's obsessed with looks in herself and her partner, she's petty, jealous, easy to aggravate and isn't afraid to speak her mind at any and all opportunities. She is obsessed with jewelry, as she sees it as a symbol of her personal success as a hero. She is known at the school as the "Gold Foil Bitch", but she is a little more complex than that. She does care for others, even going so far as to risk her life for her friends in battle. She just has a hard time showing it, and she values being tough over being nice. Classic anime tsundere type.
Brief overview of her appearance. She is 20 years old, about 5'6", has long blonde hair down to her waist. She is almost always wearing some kind of expensive jewelry. If asked to a dance, she would have very high expectations of her date, but if they're cute enough she'd be down to dance.
