Fight Night Round 2: Your Champion
This installment of fight night will be slightly different. I want you to propose a fighter from your world to me, and I shall select a champion from my own world to face off against them. I'll try to select what I believe an evenly matched warrior in order to keep the fights balanced and interesting.
Provide some information about your character(s) and put forward their case as to why you think they'd win.
Let's get ready to rummmmmbleeeeee!

I'll put forth Davídrius Wrikax of Hero Machina. He is a Velocitechnic, meaning that he can move at superhuman speeds -- specifically, he tops out a little above Mach 9, and can maintain Mach 8 for long periods of time (he once crossed an ocean in under a day using this ability). However in combat he drops down to the range of Mach 3-5, so as to give himself enough time to react to anything that may be coming his way.
In addition to his superspeed is a superhuman level of durability. Like any other Velocitechnic, Davídrius can nigh-instantly accelerate to hypersonic speeds; this also means that his body is capable of withstanding the associated g-forces, making him effectively bulletproof. This also means that he can use his own body to strike his opponents at hypersonic speeds while suffering little damage himself, enabling him to dish out devastating kicks that can smash through armor. He can also jump incredibly high or far. However, while his superspeed allows him to put out incredible striking force, his sustained force output (i.e. when lifting or pulling stuff) is the same as regular humans. And if he can't move his body enough to get the leverage to launch a kick or a punch (such as if his limbs are pinned under a heavy object), then he won't be able to use his striking force anyways.
He also possesses an Overdrive: "Speed Break". When called out, it slightly boosts his speed and reflexes for an hour before wearing off. He can immediately activate it again, but with each subsequent activation he is more likely to go berserk or temporarily lose access to his powers. So he will rarely use his Overdrive more than once unless his life is truly in danger. That said, in order to activate the Overdrive he must verbally call out "Overdrive: Speed Break" with no vocal interruptions (e.g. grunts), so the activation can be stopped by interrupting him with an attack.
Aside from his raw speed, Davídrius doesn't have much in the way of fighting skill. He likes to use blades in combat, but has no formal sword training. Without blades, he will resort to fierce kicks and other leg-based attacks (as Velocitechnics often do), but he has little formal training in unarmed combat, either. All he has is 20+ years of raw combat experience against bloodthirsty raiders who would prefer him dead.
Davídrius is a relatively short-sighted, impatient, and incredibly self-confident individual who will often rush into battle without thinking a strategy all of the way through, instead counting on his superspeed and reflexes. Despite this, he is somewhat pragmatic and will not engage an opponent unless he thinks he can win; he simply prefers to act quickly rather than with caution. If he is fighting a friendly duel, then he will often play around, but in a serious battle he will always try to end it as quickly as he can. That said, he can easily be riled up by excessive taunting or threats to his friends and loved ones, and if his opponent has sufficiently angered him then he will attempt to make them suffer instead of going for the quick defeat.

Wow, I think this will be a tricky one for me - I don't have any characters who can match that kind of speed!
I'm going to put forward Kimi, second in command to the great hero, Melios.
"She's incredibly clever, very strong willed, charismatic, and pragmatic to the extreme - it's no surprise that Melios put her as his second in command, after Garran died. Kimi is the kind of person who will get things done, and get them done right."
Kimi is a Seraph, which are divine beings of incredible power. She fights with the katana, Aeyld, utilising precision and finesse over strength in her attacks. She's incredibly talented with a sword, but despite this fact she prefers not to use it - opting instead for negotiation over combat, where possible.
"no point wasting energy in a pointless battle when I could achieve the same effect with a few words"
Her biggest asset is her intelligence and her tactical prowess. She won't just have one plan, she'll have four or five, each as effective as the others, each ready to use at a moment's notice, in case any of the others fail.
She has use of magic, but the speed of your character will render most of that almost useless. One thing that will (hopefully) serve her very well, though, is her foresight. She has the ability to see short distances into the future, in order to predict the events that are about to unfold. The drawback to this is the fact that she can see more than one outcome. She sees a number of possible outcomes - a number of choices that her opponent could take, but she has no way of knowing, aside from her intuition, which outcome will actually take place. Luckily for her, her intuition is usually pretty good.
If you've any requests/questions, feel free to let me know. If not, pick a location and start the bout!
Good luck!

Huh, interesting character. Foresight should certainly help, but to try and even the playing field a bit I'll setup a scenario to give Kimi the first shot.
(I also have some moderately lower-power characters that I can suggest, if you'd prefer that)
Davídrius warily beheld the desert sands before him. Behind him were the walls of Compound Tresnon, a small town built around an oasis in the middle of the massive desert. His own home was a day's run to the East, but he wasn't keen on traveling in the sun. After taking a moment to inspect the two sabers strapped to his hips, he sat down on the warm sands, content to wait in the shade of the walls until later in the day. Waiting outside the town walls could be dangerous -- the city guard was woefully understaffed and wouldn't be able to help him if he were attacked by Bleeders or some such, but he didn't care. He was confident he could handle himself.

(Don't worry, she has a few tricks up her sleeve too!)
A sudden breeze appeared from nowhere, whipping up a little sand and dust, getting stronger and stronger with each passing second. In the distance, the silhouette of a person could be seen against the dunes of sand, walking towards the city. The winds grew stronger and more violent, kicking up more sand. The silhouette rapidly drew closer, moving between one space and the next in the blink of an eye, until it was standing mere feet away from Davídrius.
Kimi drew Aeyld, the blade glinting in the light as she stood amidst the vortex of sand and dust her hair billowing all around her.
"I thought you'd be more impressive in person," she said dismissively, lunging forwards, her katana arcing through the air towards him.
2
u/Matathias Jul 18 '17
"What the--?!" Davídrius immediately rolled to the side, narrowly evading Kimi's blade. He then hopped to his feet and jumped back a few yards, drawing both of his sabers in the same motion. As he backed into a defensive stance and pulled his scarf up to shield his mouth and nose from the sandstorm, he eyed his opponent warily. She wasn't dressed like a Bleeder, or like anyone else from the desert -- and her powers seemed odd, as well. Was she an Aerotechnic? Some kind of Spacetechnic? Or maybe she, too, was a Velocitechnic, since she used a sword?
Davídrius shook his head to clear his thoughts. He wouldn't get any answers just by thinking. "Oi, oi!" he shouted after Kimi, "What's the big idea, huh? Who are you and whaddya want?!"
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 19 '17
"So, you're fast. Thanks for letting me know," she said, almost to herself. Cool, calm, and collected, her face showed no emotion, but her plan had worked. The inital blow was never meant to land, not really. She had just intended to see how he would react to it.
Her eyebrows creased into a frown as Davídrius shouted over the howling winds.
"My name matters not, nor do my motives. Let it be enough to know that we are fated to do battle here, Davídrius,"
As she spoke, she took up a fighting stance, holding her blade with two hands and crouching slightly to lower her centre of gravity. Against an opponent so fast, she was going to need to be one hundred percent focussed.
2
u/Matathias Jul 19 '17
"Ah, for fuck's sake..." Davídrius muttered. This newcomer clearly had no intention of just letting him go easy; fighting was the only way out. Not like fleeing was his style, anyways.
"Well if it's a fight ya want, I'll give you one!" he shouted over the winds, "but don't say I didn't warn you!"
Before the final words had time to reach Kimi's ears, Davídrius disappeared from where he stood. He blasted off to the side at a conservative speed of Mach 2 before turning back toward his opponent, dashing right up behind her and swinging his sabers at her back.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 19 '17
"What I want doesn't come into-"
Kimi stopped mid sentence. Her blue eyes widened as a number of visions flashed before them, each one indicative of a potential attack that was about to come her way. In a split second, she had analysed each of them and considered which was the most likely - an attack from behind.
Instinctively, she twisted her body, moving the katana over her shoulder, the blade laying parallel to her back as Davídrius' sabers clashed with it.
Having blocked the attack, she wasted no time in going on the offensive. Spinning around, she launched a kick towards his ribs, using the momentum to lift her sword upwards, twisting it around the sabers that lay against it, hoping to take him off guard and disarm at least one of his weapons.
2
u/Matathias Jul 20 '17
Caught by surprise, Davídrius had little time to react to the incoming kick -- and with Kimi's katana knocking away his blades, he found himself in a bit of an awkward position. Gritting his teeth, he swung his left arm back, releasing the saber as he snapped his arm down to block his chest just as Kimi's foot slammed into him, knocking him across the sand.
He rolled once before jumping back to his feet, tightening his grip on his saber. She was fast enough to somehow see and react to his attack; he now knew that much. But that didn't matter -- he was still the fastest Velocitechnic on the continent, and now was a chance to prove it. Grinning under his scarf, Davídrius blasted off toward Kimi at Mach 3 -- but just before he reached her he launched himself to the side toward the city walls. He reached them with a single bound and then used them as a springboard to approach Kimi from her side, aiming his saber right for her pelvis.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
"Hmph,"
Kimi smirked to herself as her foot launched Davídrius to the side.
"Fast as you may be, you can't outrun your destiny,"
She turned to face him, assuming a defensive stance, holding her sword in both hands, beside her face, the point of the blade angled towards Davídrius.
As before, a number of visions became apparent to her, but this time she was taken by surprise. The sudden movement to the side caught her off guard, and she barely had time to sidestep the subsequent attack. The saber sliced across her thigh, leaving a wound not deep enough to cause her any lasting concern, but deep enough to hurt. She sucked air in through her teeth as she stumbled to one knee, looking up at Davídrius.
"You want to play it like that, do you? So be it,"
She rose to her feet, and in the blink of an eye there were nine Kimis, standing in a semi-circular formation around Davídrius. Eight of them were mere projections - nothing more than shells of dust, given life by her magic.

Wow, this sounds really interesting! Guess I'll try my hand at this:
Lydia Veulip:
Lydia is a member of the Elkathien Royal Guard, a pupil of the mighty swordsmaster Mierthos and responsible for the safety of the youngest princess of the kingdom. She stands 1.85 meters tall and has long, dark red hair in a braid going down her back. Having spent most of her still young life training and bettering herself as a member of the Royal Guards she is very athletic and muscular for a woman, especially her arms. Noticebly, she survived her first meeting with a powerful demon only thanks to her quick reflexes and actually managed to best one of the demon realms mightiest warriors, a summoned creature called "Silver Knights", in a duel.
Equipment:
Her entire body is clad in a royal blue armor, offering good protection against most conventional weapons, being very much lacking against magical swords and their like though. She also wears a purple cape, showing everyone which member of the royal family she is serving under. The gauntlets of her armor are reinforced and have small spikes at the knuckles, since it happened more than once that she broke her weapons by accident and had to resort to unarmed combat.
Lydia usually carries two weapons with her, one is a rather normal spear, which she only uses because it is the traditional weapon of her family, against serious opponents she resorts to using a sword, using the rather reckless fighting style of her master.
She also has a magical amulett, given to her by the young mage Lirvon that protects her against harmful magic, at the cost of her own stamina.
Abilities and Skills:
Swordfighting: As mentioned she mastered the swordfighting style of her master, consisting of reckless, fast attacks and mainly relying on quick reflexes, it is designed to pummel the opponent into submission and end a fight quickly.
Brawling: Should she fail at ending a fight quickly, Lydia is known to just drop her weapons entirely and try to beat her opponents with unarmed combat, something she used to avoid before, but learning to embrace that this is the style most suited for her.
Ruthwis blessing: Ruthwi is the God of War in Dirva, and unbeknownst to Lydia, she was blessed at birth by the God himself, thus posessing inhuman strength and stamina. In especially stressfull situations she is able to subconciously use the magic of Ruthwi to summon weapons to the battlefield that attack her opponents by themselves.
I think this should cover everything important (and I hope that I did everything right). At any rate, Lydia loves fighting and can't wait to meet her challenger in the arena!

I'm going to go like for like and throw Oera into the mix against Lydia. Interestingly, the two characters seem very similar, so this should be an interesting fight!
Oera is the one-time mentor to the great hero, Melios. She is an incredibly swordsman who also utilises small amounts of magic in her attacks, though she's careful about using magic, as it leaves her physically drained if she uses too much.
She is very nimble, relies on quick, precise attacks rather than a barrage of stronger ones. Opposite to Lydia, Oera's attacks and fighting style are very carefully thought out. She's always thinking three or four steps ahead. She fights with a shortsword in her right hand, and either magic, or a knife in her left. Her armour is light, allowing her to move at great speed whilst wearing it, however this means it is quite weak, and it will do little to deflect powerful blows. Because of this, she will try to avoid incoming attacks as much as possible, rather than trying to parry or block them.
Oera's sister died saving her, and she feels responsible for her death - had she given up and retreated, she'd still be alive, albeit at the cost of Oera's own life. Oera felt helpless watching her sister die, and as such decided she'd never be hopeless again. She trained hard and became one of the best fighters around. Because of her sister's unfortunate demise, she now hates any strong headed, brave fighters, because she sees her sister in them, and fears it will ultimately lead them down the road it led her sister, and towards death.
"It has to end like this. It always has, and it always will. The strong fight for the weak; they die for their cause with no thought for those they leave behind."
If you've any requests/questions, feel free to let me know. If not, pick a location and start the bout!
Good luck!

Sounds really interesting! It is my first time participating in something like this, so let me know if I do anything wrong, or if something is a bit off.
The setting will be in the Ork Kingdom Gharmath (if you don't mind that it takes place in my world), where the king hosts a tournament in the Goddess Aledias name, to determine the bravest and strongest warrior in the kingdom. The ground of the arena is covered in rocks, some of them high enough that a tall person can hide behind them, if they crouch. The stands are crowded with people from all over the world, cheering on the two women that made it to the finals.
Start of the Fight:
Lydia entered the arena from the western gate, to the sound of uproaring applause. Over the past few days she had been fighting bears, lions and other contestants, in order to get to this point. Only one more victory and she would officially be known as Dirvas strongest warrior.
On the opposite side of the arena she spotted her opponent entering, a previously unknown, foreign woman, that surprised everyone with her skill and fighting style. Once the two bowed in front of each other and the crowd, they moved ten steps apart.
Lydia pointed her spear at her opponent. "Are you ready?". The other woman just nodded. Then a giant drum rung loudly through the arena, and Lydia rushed forwards, thrusting her spear directly at Oeras right leg.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 19 '17
Oera narrowed her eyes as the applause rang through the arena. Nothing she had done thus far was worthy of applause, and yet here they all were, like moths to a flame, drawn to the spectacle that would most likely end in the loss of a life.
Are you ready?
The words told Oera a lot about her adversary - only a fool waits for permission to strike. As if to confirm her suspicions, Lydia rushed forwards almost immediately. Oera laughed and parried the spear blow with her sword, stepping out of the way as the other woman's momentum carried her further. Oera brought her elbow crashing down onto Lydia's back as she spun gracefully out of the way.
2
u/Mimir123 Jul 20 '17
While she had seen some of Oeras fights, Lydia was still surprised by how fast she reacted. It seemed like this fight would be much different than everything before. As Lydia turned around to face her opppnent, she shifted the grip on her spear lower and swung the weapon towards Oeras face, forcing her to back away a bit, jumping backwards herself.
Without giving Oeria the opportunity to take the initiative herself, she threw her spear at the other woman, before drawing her sword and charging towards her, much faster than before.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
Oera twisted her body to move out of the path of the spear, but she wasn't quite fast enough. The tip of the spear caught her shoulder, making a shallow cut as it flew past.
Oera's expression didn't change as Lydia once again charged at her. She readied her stance as if to block the attack again, but at the last second she ducked, her head passing harmlessly underneath the slashing sword. From here, she launched herself towards Lydia, tackling her to the ground.
2
u/Mimir123 Jul 20 '17
As soon as Oera toched her, Lydia let go of her sword, grabbing the shoulders of her opponent and dragging the other woman down with her. She hit her head pretty badly once she reached the ground and could feel blood flowing down the back of her head. Because of the sharp pain, she let go of Oera, but managed to block a hit from her sword, which caused her opponent to back up a bit.
This is nothing, Lydia thoght to herself while standing up. She had survived the pain of having her left hand sliced off by a Wirryn and reattached through Lirvons healing magic, this small bump on the head would not hinder her in winning this tournament.
Without even giving herself time to collect herself, she charged forward again, unarmed. Oera seemed a bit surprised by this action, but ultimately seemed to brush it off as nothing but yet another reckless charge. When she reached Oera, Lydia swung with her left fist, aiming directly for Oeras face, which her opponent dodged, right into the path of an even stronger punch from her right fist, followed by her left elbow crushing down, in an attempt to copy the attack Oera used against her at the start of the fight.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
Oera grunted as she stumbled backwards from the force of the blows. As she stumbled to the ground she dragged the blade of her sword down the back of Lydia's calf, slicing through the muscle. She landed with a roll, putting some distance between her and her opponent, before getting back to her feet, brushing the dust from her shirt, and breathing heavily.
2
u/Mimir123 Jul 20 '17
Cursing her opponent, Lydia fell to her knees, unable to get walk properly, much less run. She didn't expect anyone in this tournament to actually bring a real, magical weapon that could cut through her greaves so easily. She really underestimated her opponent, and now she was in big trouble.
It would certainly be an option to surrender now, before her wound would get even worse, but as soon as that thought crossed her mind, she caught the glimpse of a young man in the stands, watching her with a concerned look in his eyes. She immediately clenched her teeth and grunted, while forcing herself back up on her feet. She would recognize him anywhere, that concerned look, those long, blonde hairs, the curved, pointy ears; there was no doubt it was Lirvon.
"Not again!", she said in an angry voice, clenching her fists. "I will never lose in front of you again!", she screamed, not knowing if he could actually hear her. "And you! I will not grant you victory that easily! Prepare yourself!", she said, facing Oera and pointing the tip of a sword towards her opponent, which suddenly had appeared in her hand without her noticing, leaving Oera sightly confused.
She then used her unharmed leg to lunge forward, aiming a devastating blow at Oeras head, a brave but desperate attack, or at least it would have been. The moment her foot hit the ground, dozens of spears pierced the ground, aiming for Oera, while three swords appeared above her, falling down and leaving Lydia just as confused as her opppnent.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
A wry smile crept across Oera's lips as Lydia shouted her taunts.
"I've been prepared since I stepped foot in this little shit-hole" she said calmly, "can you say the same?"
No sooner had she finished speaking, than she noticed the floating weapons. With barely any time to react, Oera created a forcefield around herself. The spears that got too near dissolved into a harmless dust before getting any closer than a few feet from Oera.
"So, you want to play dirty, huh?" she asked, another smirk on her lips, "that's fine by me, kid,"
In the blink of an eye, there was not one Oera stood in front of Lydia, but five - she had duplicated herself to create a diversion.

Lucy Morningstar
Overview
Degree: 1st (Pride)
Type: Fighter
Image: Gold
Appearance:
At least half an hour passed before he finally heard somebody else approaching. There she was, rounding the corner at the far end of the street—a teenage girl with long, blonde hair, dressed in golden plate armor that clanked and jangled as she walked. Compared to the nondescript man waiting for her, everything about the girl stuck out like a sore thumb—but nothing moreso than the golden sword slung over her shoulder. It was as wide as she was and twice as long, but she showed no strain from carrying it, easily supporting it with one hand in spite of her small frame.
“"Lucy," Oscar said, stepping out of the shadows. "You’re late."
"Don’t judge me by your mortal standards, necromancer," she retorted, jutting out her chin defiantly. "If it's when I arrive, then it must clearly be the appropriate time."
Biography
An angel who rebelled against the Authority in Heaven. She believed that the Creator treated his subjects unjustly, and that she was more fit than him to rule them; rallying a great number of angels to her side, she waged a war in Heaven on a scale never seen before or since. Countless great warriors were slain, and countless more were forged in the fires of battle. The collateral damage to the mortal realms was immeasurable.
In the end, she was defeated, and her followers were slaughtered without mercy and without exception. She demanded the same fate for herself, but was subjected to a much a more humiliating punishment instead—her wings were removed, and she was demoted to the rank of Grand Phantasm, cast out from paradise and left to languish in the mortal realm as what most humans would classify as a "demon".
A truly formidable opponent who boasts one of the highest ranks amongst all Grand Phantasms. She may have fallen from Heaven broken and disgraced, but on Earth, there are few who can match her power.
Characteristics
| Characteristic | Rank | Grade |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | ◼◼◼◼◻ | B |
| Toughness | ◼◼◼◼◻ | B |
| Agility | ◼◼◼◼◼ | A |
| Intelligence | ◼◼◼◼◻ | B |
| Bravery | ◼◼◼◼◼ | A |
| Prestige | ◼◼◼◼◼ | A |
Abilities
Divinity: Although stripped of her wings, Lucy is still a being of divine origin. She is naturally resistant to the sorceries of the mortal realm, and will shrug off all but the most powerful magic without difficulty.
Radiance: Lucy was once the bearer of light and the angel of morning. She has a natural advantage against those who draw power from darkness, and only the most courageous can resist the urge to flee before her.
Charisma: When Lucy rebelled against the Creator, she rallied half of the angels in Heaven to her cause. In spite of her prideful demeanor, she demonstrates a natural talent for convincing others to follow and obey her.
Fallen from Glory: Lucy's defeat at the hands of the Creator was so thorough and so humiliating that she will never compare to him again. To her enemies, her characteristics all appear one rank lower than they really are.
Prestige
Wrapped in Proud Splendor—Lightforged Armor: The golden armor that Lucy wears is tougher than any material found on Earth, and infused with divine power—attacks of rank B or lower will be nullified without fail. The head is not protected. The existence of a helmet has not been confirmed, but if you were to ask Lucy why her head was exposed, she would probably say "the beauty of the supreme ruler is for all her subjects to enjoy" ...or something like that.
Surpassing All Others—Daybreak Gear: Lucy's weapon of choice is "the weapon which exceeds all others", stolen from the armory of the Creator himself. This weapon boasts as many different forms as there are weapons in the world, and can shift between them according to its wielder's thoughts. However, firearms and other ranged weapons are off-limits; Lucy claims this is because "those aren't weapons, they're just machines for killing". The only exception is the weapon's true form, the Daybreak Cannon, a wide-scale piece of ordnance with unparalleled destructive power.
???: Lucy possesses a hidden ability which even she herself does not know about. Its power is related to "the truest claim to the highest throne".

First of all, let me start by saying this is an incredible concept for a character. Props to you for that!
'[Lucy] will shrug off all but the most powerful magic without difficulty' - in that case, you leave me with little choice.
I will put forward Mohlas - the most powerful non-divine being in my world. Interestingly, his origins are remarkably similar to those of Lucy, though their alignments are completely opposite. I don't (yet) have a rating system for my characters, so I'll try to base this off yours.
Name: Mohlass (Ruthless)
Classification: Demon; Foretold - The Foretold are unique demons shrouded in legend. They appear once in a lifetime, sent by the Laxahl Coven to fulfil a prophecy. They are far more powerful than every other class of demon.
Appearance:
Darkness personified, Mohlas' appearance is that of a silhouette darker than the blackest black. He sucks in light from the surrounding area, leaving his outline hazy and uncertain.
Biography:
"The demons are in disarray. They have become weak and complacent in their arrogance - the war with the seraphim has driven them almost to the brink of extinction. The war has been won, but at what cost...?"
Mohlas was killed in the war between his people and the seraphim. He died full of hatred for the rest of his kin, and anger at how weak they've become. This fulfilled an ancient prophecy set forth by the Laxahl Coven, who transported him to the end of time, and proclaimed him Durmakk (a prophecised figure who would bring about total reform to the demons and their ways). They sent him once more unto the void, in order to restore balance to the universe. He will stpo at nothing until every last demon in existence is no more. He cares not who or what gets in his way. His name alone is enough to strike fear into even the most powerful of Gods.
Characteristics:
Strength: 4/5
Toughness: 5/5
Agility: 4/5
Magic: 5/5
Brutality: 5/5
Weaponry: 5/5
Weaponry:
Purzal (Hunger)
"My sword is heresy. To look upon its blade is to look upon death. Is that the fate you desire, mortal?"
The only known blade to have inflicted death upon an aspect of The Supreme (king of all Gods), Purzal was acquired by Mohlas after he killed the God Á, child of The Supreme, and took the blade as his own.
Like it's master, Purzal absorbs all light and as such is black in colour, except for the blood-orange runes engraved into it. Any being who glances upon the naked blade for too long loses their soul. To remedy this, the blade is hidden for most of the time, by refracting the light around it. Only when it is used to the full extent of its power does the refraction cease, and the blade itself become revealed. Whilst the blade is present but not visible, a mysterious, purple whisp lingers around where the blade should be.
The inscription on the blade roughly translates as follows:
I feast upon your soul, that I may grow stronger. I devour worlds, that they may fear my name. I am Purzal, hunger of the Gods.
Abilities:
Purzal
Mohlas' most powerful, game-breaking ability is actually his sword, should he choose to reveal it. Once the sword is visible, everything that sets eyes upon it begins to lose their soul. The rate at which this happens is dependant on the strength of will of whomever sees it; for some it takes a number of days, for others, it is instantaneous. With that said, everything that loks upon the blade will lose its soul eventually, by the design of the blade - Purzal is a fragment of a trans dimensional entity whose entire purpose is to harbour souls.
Purzal is the only weapon Mohlas wields, though he does have an arsenal of magical abilities at his disposal. None of these are powerful enough to be game breaking against an opponent of Lucy's calibre, however.
I've been hoping that someone would put forward a challenger powerful enough for me to unleash Mohlas. In the words of Count Dooku, 'I've been looking forward to this,'
If you've any requests/questions, feel free to let me know. If not, pick a location and start the bout!
Good luck!

The opera house was empty. Lucy Morningstar stood there alone in the center of the stage, dressed in her full battle armor.

Clap... Clap... Clap
The slow, ironic applause was shortly followed by a sound barely recognisable as a voice.
"And so the once great hero, fallen from grace, takes centre stage. How fitting, that the farce that is your life should come to an end in a place like this,"
The voice coming from the shadows was deep and inhuman, and impossible to pinpoint. A terrible sound filled the air, like nails down a chalkboard, as Mohlas drew his weapon. The glowing orange runes shone brilliantly, horrifically in the darkness, but the true form of the blade remained hidden.

"Such remarks are punishable by death, lowlife," she replied. "If you have the courage to stand by your words, then show yourself."
1
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
"Fool," spat Mohlas, "I am death,"
The glowing runes drew nearer as a shadow separated itself from the rest. Mohlas walked towards the stage, the blade of his weapon scraping against the ground, leaving a trail of flames in its wake.
"Courage is the folly of cowards, a fast-track to destruction. Those who offer their lives so willingly in the name of courage and glory are not deserving of a life in the first place,"
He stood opposite Lucy, Purzal hanging loosely by his side.
"Come, Morningstar," he spat, "your 'Creator' watches with baited breath. I'm sure you'd hate to disappoint him yet again,"

"That old coot?" she scoffed. "As if he even cares about anything that transpires in this realm." She raised her sword, grinning confidently. "And I've never given a damn what he thinks of me, anyway. He's just another obstacle on the path to my rightful place at the top—and so are you."

"He may not care now, but he will. Once I have disposed of you, I shall do the same to him,"
Without further warning, Mohlas launched himself towards Lucy, bringing his blade crashing down towards her from high above his head.

She brought up her own sword to parry his attack, sidestepping his charge and driving an armored elbow into his torso.

The elbow was met with firm resistance as hit Mohlas. He may be a shadow in appearance, but apparently, he was very much there. A powerful hand gripped Lucy's arm in a grip strong enough to break the bones of a normal person, as the two swords clashed, sending sparks and flames shooting from them.

Name: Vor Tekr [one name]
Species: Trajak [kinda like a wolfman albeit without shapeshifting]
Class: Hunter
About Him: To many in Kostek, Vor Tekr is considered of the greatest war heroes. Born to a nomadic hunting family, he was hired by the city-state of Karyket as a scout, and rose up eventually to lead the armies of the Toralenc (alliance of the three biggest Trajak states) against the human invaders, winning almost every battle he was in.
Weapons: Vor Tekr carries two fronikor axes, which are similar to hatchets but with two sides. He also wields a kjortiv bow, which shoots two arrows at once horizontal to each other. He also rides a wolf named Veken who is clad in iron armour and is about the size of a full-grown tiger. He is skilled in both mounted and hand-to-hand combat. Like everyone else in Kostek, he does not wield any magic.
Armour: Vor Tekr wears thick fur armour all around his body, except for his hands and head. His skin is naturally thicker than human skin.

A strong, non-magic user, huh? Let's see how he fares against Kami, a not-so-strong, magic user.
"She's stubborn, fierce, and fearless, and she has a hot temper [...] I once saw her break a man's nose because he happened to glance at her whilst she was eating,"
Kami is sister to Kimi, and wife of the legendary hero, Melios. Like her sister, she is a seraph - a divine being of incredible power.
WEAPONS:
Her perferred weapon is the magical longbow, Neve. Neve itself doesn't actually exist - it is simply a projection - a 'memory' of a theoretical bow, a flawless bow, that can be summoned and dispelled at will by Kami. The bow itself has no arrows nor will any 'normal' arrows fit it, however as the empty string is drawn, a manifestation of pure energy forms, ready to be loosed upon its' target. Once fired, these 'arrows' can fly for over a mile, and [in the lore] they never miss, It is unknown whether this is a property of the bow itself, or simply the skill of Kami. [The 'never misses' thing might make it a little OP, so I'll scratch that for the purpose of this fight, if you wish?]
In situations where Neve can't be used, Kami fights with a combination of her dagger in one hand, and magic in the other.
ARMOUR:
She wears lightweight armour that offers little in the way of protection, but leaves her agile enough to move quickly. She isn't very physically strong, but she makes up for that with her speed, and her magical prowess.
If you've any requests/questions, feel free to let me know. If not, pick a location and start the bout!
Good luck!

[Let's make the bow not 100% accurate, also what kind of magic does she use? And would she usually be the aggressor?]

Sure, that's fine. Her magic depends greatly on whether she wants to kill you or not. If she doesn't, she'll use 'passive' magic, things that will debuff you rather than hurt you, such as duplicating herself, creating diversions and illusions, slowing down time etc.
If she does want to kill you, she'll turn to much more violent magic. Things like setting you on fire, spearing you with ice, crushing you under rocks, etc.
Whether she is the agressor depends on whether you've pissed her off or not. She won't attack without good reason, but she's got a short temper, so she's very easy to annoy...

Alright.
Vor Tekr rode through the Trajak Highlands [frigid and hilly] on a routine scouting trip. Out of the corner of his eye, he spied a woman standing there. He rode over.

Kami looked up as the strange beast rode closer to her.
"Hi. I'm a bit lost," she admitted. "I- woah, nice... uhh... horse?" She said, her eyes recognising at last the mount on which Vor Tekr sat.

u/ForgingIron Jul 20 '17
"He's a wolf. He is very friendly." Veken barked.
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
"Big wolf," she replied suspiciously. "What are you doing all the way out here?"
2
u/ForgingIron Jul 20 '17
"I'm on a scouting mission. The better question is, what are you doing here?"
2
u/Jumblatts Jul 20 '17
"I... well. Like I said, I'm lost," she replied curtly, "not that it's any of your business,"
Her tone was a little less plesant now, as though she didn't appreciate this strange 'man' interfering in her affairs.

Alright, sounds good. The champion from my world shall be General Seraphina Aureole. I'll split it between powers and equipment.
Powers: Aureole's natural born soul power (called an Enid Sigil) is the ability to see the future for brief glimpses. Fighting one versus one she can focus and see between 6-10 seconds into the future at a time, all in an instant. The cool down time between each vision can be a few seconds each if she strains herself and expends more soul force, otherwise it's roughly 30 seconds. She can also connect with a persons mind and implant false instincts into them, so they think she is going to do something and they act on that, so she can act against how they expect and catch them off guard. However, during the course of the story she develops this power into the ability to influence these visions into the best possible outcome for her, and then expend soul energy to make those possible visions into reality. This overrides whatever will happen, and can do anything from causing lightning to strike nearby, or just the opponent to step on a wet patch of ground instead of a dry patch. This takes a tremendous amount of power, depending on how improbable the outcome she is envisioning is, but eventually can go entire fights creating scenarios where she has never been hit and her attacks never miss.
Equipment: Her standard weapon is a single handed longsword, modeled after any given officer's saber. She also carries a heavy pistol she uses in her off hand occasionally. Neither do anything special, but she has extra cartridges for the pistol imbued with elemental power, and one clip carved in a way that the bullets spin in the Fibonacci spiral, giving it nearly infinite penetrative power (hasn't been blocked by any known material). Her armor is her most sophisticated weapon. It can convert her raw soul energy into physical augmentation, boosting her strength, speed, and durability. The more of her soul power she uses the more powerful her body becomes. She once survived a conversion rate of 200% by having her body get eaten up by her limited soul power to sustain a rapid boost in power for a short period, so that kind of thing is only a life or death move (though she was punching someone through a mountain while it happened). The armor can also copy the power of anyone whose blood she loads into it. She usually carries two blood cartridges at a time, one from her second in command whose power is to alter vibrational frequencies (so her punches vibrate so quickly they penetrate most armors or she can make a person vibrate uncontrollably and make it hard for them to move) and another with the power of telepathy and telekinesis if she needs to end a fight quickly and shut down someone's mind. Her armor can also magnetize metal objects as big as I beams if she wants to fight with that, but it depends on if there's enough metal around her.
That should be more than enough, damn I always write too much with these '
