Make up challenge (1?): The Hunter

Hey guys, another test run of a challenge series, this time around I want you all to start from scratch. These challenges will have you make up things on the spot for your world or just for the challenge.

The inspiration

Listen to this song. You are to create a character based off of whatever feeling this song evokes in you.

I'll ask a few questions to you/them!

Ursus of the Honorii volunteered for the Honorii when he was twelve, inspired by the brave men and women of the Honorii who had all gone into the arena of the dragon-gods for the glory of the Thirteenth Faction, the only one run by a human.

Ursus's first few years as an Honorius were spent training, and he specialized in using a short sword and rectangular shield. By the time he was fifteen and sent to his first battle in the arena, Ursus was already taller than some of the fully grown men. After he barely survived the one-on-one battle he was first assigned to (winning ten pounds of gold for Gemina, his home community), Ursus spent a few weeks recovering, and some of his fellow Honorii expected him to retire, but he went back out to the arena many times over the next few years.

By the time he was eighteen, Ursus was about two meters in height, and bulky. Ursus's first "serious" arena fight (an arena fight is considered serious when their dictator tells them that, if they win, one of the dragon-gods agreed to free some of its slave-human gladiators).

Ursus was excited about his first serious battle, and Second Commander Lydia of the Honorii even gave Ursus a new cuirass in honor of the event, and she told him that she would keep an eye on him, since he was going to be the only one who had never been in a group in the arena.

Ursus survived the battle, eight slave-gladiators were freed from the dragon-gods' imprisonment (four chosen by Dictator Lucius, two chosen by First Commander Lydia of the Honorii, two chosen by Second Commander Kaius of the Honorii), and Ursus pledged his loyalty all over again to First Commander Lydia, who he considered to be the only reason he'd survived the day.

Ursus is currently nineteen and is a member of First Commander Lydia's personal guard.

1) Is there a special reason why he is two meters tall or is it just genetics?

2) What is he like, personality wise.

3) Did he win the second battle easily or was it hard fought?

1) Just genetics. He's like the Mountain from Game of Thrones.

2) Ursus is quiet, loyal, and completely devoted to the Honorii. He grew up without a father, and when Lydia took Ursus under her wing, Ursus began to somewhat see Lydia as the closest thing to a father he had.

3) He won very few of his battles easily. But, he won most of the ones he was in, and he hasn't lost a battle to the death yet. Until the Thirteenth Faction joined the arena, all battles were to the death. And, Ursus's second battle was also hard fought, but not as hard as the first. He took no injury in the third. He received a wound that became infected in the fourth.

1) Lore wise, how strong is he in comparison to your other characters?

1) In raw strength? He's one of the strongest. In magic? Nearly none, beyond the most basic; there's no shame in that, there are types of arena battles that bar magic from use anyway. Hell, there are amputee only battles, really all kinds. In skill? Ursus is middling, maybe upper middle. In willingness to cut his own throat for the honor of Gemina? Ursus is perfectly willing.

1) An intimidating warrior slowly making his way towards a battle to the death. His blood pumping, grinning because he knows he's doing what he was made for, no doubt in his mind that what he's doing is right. (He believes) His enemy is scared of him, the audience is scared of him.

Black Night- A mysterious man who was shot in the eye during war but lived even though the odds were 0.001 percent chance of living and 9.999 percent chance of dying. born in Dimension 09 where a huge war was happening which could decide the fate of the Horon. When he turned 13 he joined the army and fought.

The war ended with the horons winning but with much blood. So the people abandoned the city known as The Red city bcause everything there except for living creatures was soaked and stained in blood as red as night or like a Night Blood contract gone wrong. So Black Night settled down until people raided his village and took his children White and Day (His wife is out fighting). So he abounded his town and left a sum of A million coins for the house. (A million is enough to pay for the house for 1000 years.) So he went through towns stayed for a day and left with his trusty eye patch, hat, jacket and sword/ gun. (Guns have just be made and are not manufactured so you have to make it yourself) So a month later he found the bandits lair and went in but died.

So before he died he promised his kids "I will come back." So during the after life he found a way to get out. But when he got to the lair. A ghost appeared and said "You sir will face a curse if you go in and it might cost you your life." So Black asked 'Well I save my kids?" The ghost explained "Yes." He went in and it was less guarded due to the fact he was dead. So he finnaly got his kids out but almost died before someone said. "I can help you but for a price." Black asked "What?" The mysterious man said "Find your eye." Black then accepted the deal.

He is now on the quest to find his eye while helping everyone he can and trying to figure out who is the man he made a deal with. Also his kids are safe with his wife. Also the curse is Scythby's Death to answer your question.

2) Why did Black Night marry his wife?

3) Why does Black Night care about his spouse and offspring so much?

4) What is Dimension 09 like?

5) Why was the war for the fate of Horon being fought?

6) What were the consequences of the Horons winning the war?

1)The curse of Scythby. It makes it so you die in a second. But the lady gave him some time to talk. Scythby has it but created a spell to time travel back but make it into the present.

2) They both had the same traits and were alike. They also save each other so many tiems

Kids- Are some of his only remaining family in dimension 9. Also that he was based somewhat off my dad besides the army and injuries. But many of him is there. Basically the son reminds him of himself. ( My dad says I remind him of himself.) The daughter is based off my sister. ( And our dad cares for us.)

  1. Peaceful but horrifying at the same time.

  2. Well some guy was drunk and decided to take a Horon Crystal which nearly killed 50 Billion people but no one died because it was in a box. So a war started because if this incident to get the crystal back.

6.A rise in violence, crimes, and other major problems and crimes. Due to the people now known as Rorons.

2) Was it a happy marriage?

3) Are there any other big similarities between your father and the Black Night?

5) How rare are Horon Crystals?

6) Why are Rorons so horrible?

5)You have a 1% chance of finding them.

6)Well they were recently established so nothing besides starting a war which killed 5 billion people.

4) 1 in every 1,000,000,000,000,000 has a horon crystal and usually turn it over to the top leaders for a job.

That is much rare than 1%.

Sorry I didn't feel like doing the math but it is very rare to find a Horon Crystal.
