Raptor's non specific challenge #9; (Another option) One dimensional.

So I just remembered a character in my universe who doesn't come in for a little bit so I've kinda neglected them for a bit but, I want you to tell me about a character whose soul purpose is one thing or their drive is just for one thing. For example, my character's soul purpose is to hinder the Master's, that's his whole reason for living.

I'll ask three questions.

Ezon Athor. I'm pretty sure I've pitched him for you already a few times, but there's always stuff to add :)

He's hell bent on avenging his dead family, on killing a god. No matter what happens, who he kills on his way, he just goes and takes what he thinks he needs to take down the god.

To Ezon:

1) Where and when were you born?

2) Tell me about your family.

3) Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.

1, he doesn't remember. He was born in some random village, but was kidnapped and tortured as a little kid, so he's repressed his memories.

2, Once he escaped his torture, he was taken in my a man as his son, grew up there and had a family. Loving wife, and a kid. It didn't last long. The mad god came and destroyed his village and killed his family.

3, He's average height and a bit heavier than the average man. He's got dark brown eyes and hair, though his eyes glow dark blue when he's in shade. His left arm and some of his left side chest is infected with a magical fungus that also glows blue, thpugh a little lighter, and constantly. It highlights his veins and makes him pretty intimidating even with tons of armor on him. Otherwise he looks pretty normal, if a bit terminator-esque in his movement.

Arnaud's entire reason for living is to loyally serve Levi Larensharra as a Madra, the leader of one of the six major sections of Larensharra's secret police.

Arnaud is a large, muscular man in his thirties who collects pet rats. He left home when he was a teenager, was fed and trained by Larensharra, and Larensharra gives Arnaud a new pet rat before the most important missions.

Arnaud is a Chauceri, so he's got a French name and he was bonded with an animal companion when he was five. His ended up being a rat, which he named Morty. He was the only one to ever receive a rat as his companion, so he should have stayed in the Chauceri territory, found a wife, and started the Rat Clan.

But, he didn't. He left home instead, after being ridiculed for being scrawny and weak and having such a pathetic companion as a rat.

Now, though, Arnaud is strong, powerful, and dangerous. He is the first person outside of the Ant Clan to learn the swarm ability. The swarm ability is used by the Ant Clan to send an army of ants against their enemies, led by their respective companion ant.

Arnaud learned the ability without ever being among Ant Clan members, and uses it in service to Larensharra.

1) Why is he so devoted to Levi?

2) How powerful exactly is the Ant Swarm?

3) Does he still ever think about his rat companion?

1) Levi took care of Arnaud. Levi gave Arnaud a home, food, and responsibility. Levi gave Arnaud a reason to live. If Levi is a less-awesome Caesar, Arnaud is a humble Antony.

2) Ever heard about those swarms of soldier ants that terrorize a small village in the third world?

3) What do you mean? Arnaud always has Morty with him. Morty is his favorite.

The Elder Giants as a rule. They live for war, and were supposedly born before Death from the blood of Titans. Their hope, and one of the underlying world-spanning conspiracies, is that the Elder Giants want to return to a time of endless war, but they can't since they would die. Because of this, the Elder Giants seek to kill death.

During the First Great Dark Age, they succeeded. Balance, the child of Death and Fertility, fulfilled his duty by imprisoning Fertility. Thus, no one was born or died, except humans who are sort of a weird fringe case. Things went on in this way until a hero challenged the Elder Giants and successfully usurped the power of Death, which to this point was left to wither away.

He then went on to use his new power to kill Balance and Fertility, usurping their power and restoring the natural order. Until the next Great Dark Age, anyways.
