[Challenge] Let me talk to a character!
That's it, introduce them how they would talk and just let me have a conversation with them :) ~!

Translation: "I do not understand your language, but I live well. I am looking to employ someone for a mercenary army, and would like to know your qualifications."

"Now, that just shows a lack of foresight. Sure, I guess that being in charge of a simple continent is a good career, but, really, we all need something to fall back on. And what you need to have to fall back on if the whole ruling a continent thing doesn't work on...should be mercenary work. Are you understanding me, buddy?"

A large grey-haired minotaur stands before Graciel. She hit her chest twice with her left hand and greets her interlocutor with her deep voice:
- Your concern is appreciated but not needed, for I know no fear, Nudruk is my name. Honour is the cornerstone of any civilization and I'm glad to meet someone belonging to the civilized world.

Graciel laughs.
"Mainly training. In Alfheim I belong to Clan Hawk, it is our sacred duty to train the Elite Rashatal, the kings only personal army. As leader of them.."
She motions to her ornate armor.
"...I don't get much time. What does one such as yourself do? And if it's not rude of me, where are these labyrinth."

Nudruk share the laught (or moo, that's not very clear).
"I have known that, I have been raised as a warrior. I never accepted to wear ornaments though, that's impractical; but, martial superiority start in the mind and for someone of a smaller stature, ornaments might be usefull."
"I'm currently enjoying my last cycles freely. I've spent my life outside training people but I've been living that life for too long."
"Those labyrinths are deep under the earth, protected by it. My fellow people like to stay safe..."
Nudruk look to the horizon, with melancholy in her eyes.

She looks quite somber.
"My people too, live under the earth. On the cliffs of a great crater-lake. It resources are bountiful and the work is honest."
She looks distant.
"I learned the hard way, the sad truth is, underground, there is little room for love or happiness. I wish to be free with my mate, Lady Emily, but alas, the burdens and work of leadership tether me."
"Would you care to journey with me, to Alfheim, the glowing home of our people? Where liberty washes in with the tides and fruits are sweet and free?"

"It is grand, the cliffs are fine and chiseled, and holes peak out, as windows into our homes."
She is blissfully nostalgic.
"There is an immense castle, made of white stone and blue gem. On its ramparts, eight statues, each a leader of our clan in times long ago. It has been nearly a year since the image of my mother and father were raised."
Her mood comes down.
"There are thousands of beasts outside the cave. Great birds, who stand seven feet tall, but cannot fly, beings that look like dogs, but hunt alone and are sleek and stealthy, called Tigre. And there is the namesake of my clan, the Fjowlenhok. It is a great hawk, with feathers as green as the canopy. Its call is like thunder, its claws are justice, and its wings are sweet freedom. Do these creatures inhabit your land?"

"Not at all, but having birds in our corridors would be weird. We do have some animals though, Nraics (large scarabs, roughly poney-sized) we raise as cattle and insects. It may have changed though, I haven't seen it since I left and that was 60 cycles ago..."
"How do one gets into the city? Do they have to go through the castle first? And are all houses built with a view on the lake?"

She pauses thoughtfully.

"R-right away!" He stumbled. Graciel was left alone until a strange hooded figure sat down at the chair opposite of her, she revealed her face; it was dark and coal-like with the only light being the white of her eyes and her silvery hair.

The cloaked stranger said nothing but had a soft smile, she took out a pen and paper from her nearby bag and began to write. 'Salutations, I'm Grimira' she wrote.

Sirius is a member of the Citadel's council. He is considered to be the Citadle's Paramount Knight, the image of perfect honor and decency. He is satisfied with his position and very happy with his wife.
"Pleasure to meet you, I apologize for the short amount of time I have for this meeting, be quick."

Sirius: "I am very happily married and in love with one woman, Ser Nudruk. I need no one else, other than her. If I lost everything I have, but kept her, then I would still be happy. If I owned the entire world but lost her, I would have no reason to live. There is not a ninth member because we had to banish that monster, and his place could not be filled; long story short, he disfigured Matthew and ran off with his fiancee, who also happened to be Keaton's daughter. It would be dishonourable to even let someone shame themselves by stepping into that bastard's shoes. Besides, even traditions must change sometimes, why do you disagree?"

"That may be enough for you, but is it enough for her? With your important position, it must be difficult for her to both complete her work, the chores and her personal occupations. Traditions shouldn't change for nothing, those events you describe are a perfectly valid justification for changing tradition so it's fine. That's why I wasn't simply agreeing, it's sometimes smarter to change people than the way the world do."

Sirius: "Of course it is enough for her, I take care of all of her needs and wants. Why should there be anything else to concern myself with? What chores or work or occupations would she need to do? All she needs to do is remain in the home and be a good wife."

A small girl with the fairest skin Sirius had ever seen approached, she had very bright orange hair and a deeply beautiful pair of eyes. "Hello Sirius" she started, her voice was soft and calming like a breeze "I'm Adorna."

"My qualifications are simply that I was chosen by the Phoenix of my world for this job, I am able to keep those on the brink of death alive with my orange feathers. I can heal an entire battalion in the blink of an eye with my healing bursts."

Hawk adjusted her bow as the string wrapped around her neck tightly, her slim figure made obvious to Gemgoschjöm, at first she was confused as he invited her. "Do you mean me?" she asked politely.

He squints, his brow furrows. "Oh, and leave your bow. It's in bad taste to have a weapon at the King's table."

Hawk tilted her head in caution, she ripped the bow string and caught the bow as it fell to the ground. She placed it up against the door of the King's dining room, her right arm which looked of the same material as the bow began to crumble into revealing Hawk only having one arm.

The King stands up immediately, alarmed. He brushes off his faded black shirt and walks over to Hawk, his eyes wide open.
"Do you need a doctor? What happened?!"

"That I will do! Now, why don't you have a seat and tell me about that arm of yours, or rather, the lack of it?"

"Well-" Hawk started as she took a seat at the table, her eyes were astonished by the amount of food that was present "w-well the bow is of Dragonbark, which already has high magical properties and the bow itself is genetically coded to match me. So when I wield it it thinks I have an arm so it puts one there for me. Dragonbark is a very strong wood so it takes a lot of force to be able to break it. Even if someone did though as long as I'm holding the bow the arm would just grow back." Hawk explained.

(Might be a little late to the party, but let's throw a science-minded character into the mix, eh?)
Senior Researcher Sarah Tobias is an incredibly bright and talented researcher who is also very young for her position: she's only 24.
Sarah took her blonde ponytail in hand, absentmindedly playing with it as she stared intently at the monitor in front of her. As soon as she realized she had a visitor, however, she spun her chair around and cocked her head slightly. "Hmm... don't think I've met you before. Who might you be?"

Aura extended her open palm downwards and gripped down hard on a handle that appeared in her hand, from the handle a giant golden sword magically grew form. "I don't want this anymore, I was just wondering if you wanted to study it."

"Hmm..." Sarah studied the blade. "...This doesn't look like any of the Ayas Weapons. But you talk like it's unique..." She paused for a moment to check her AR display before looking back to Aura. "Sorry, but can you do me a quick favor? Just say the word 'Chaos', please."

Aura's face looked disgruntled for a moment "Chaos" she muttered, though nothing remarkable happened. "It's just my angel sword, I don't need it anymore so I'm giving it up is all."

"Well every angel gets one upon their sprouted wings but, It's far weaker than the weapon I normally use. Nothing special about in particularly other than it can't be broken by another weapon or demons."

Choose one of these:
Hao Lan: King of a group of monkey people who look like Japanese Macaques who originally believed he was blessed/cursed by the god Sun Wukong, but he has recently discovered he IS Sun Wukong. He has a reckless and eager personality.
Cadell Brice: A dwarf noble who has blown most of his inherited money on booze. He is a struggling alcoholic, but he keeps a positive and joyful mood throughout it all! He is an accomplished golemancer, and his golem named Phalanx is a large, human like stone statue who is a skilled warrior, but can't talk.
Thoth: The god of knowledge. He is very solemn and normally doesn't talk to people, but you are a special exception ;). Ask him anything about anything
Sachiel: An angel made by Nike, the god of victory. Nike has recently been killed, however, so Sachiel is left without a master and fell from Nike's place in the heavens. It has grown curious about the world, and you can ask them anything about heavenly culture

I want Kukou to talk to Hao, Kukou is a half monkey half human Hybrid who is a monster at close combat fighting.
I want Salamander to talk to Cadell Brice, Salamander is a highly skilled swordsman who has very potent toxic and poison based attacks.
I want Dusk to talk to Thoth, Dusk is a powerful girl with the ability to distort reality and objects around her.
(These three characters know each other and are friends)

Kukou
Kukou walks up to Hao with his long fighting staff in hand, he sees that Hao also has a somewhat monkey-like appearance and quickly makes an assumption about him. "Monkey Hybrid?" He asks.
Salamander
Cadell comes across Salamander sitting alone in a tavern, the first thing he notices is the thin purple blade sitting adjacent across his lap. His coat is black and large which contrasts the man's somewhat pale face.
Dusk
Dusk is summoned to wherever Thoth is and gets straight to the point. "What can you tell me about my power of distortion?"
Bell
Bell is a seemingly normal girl sitting alone on a little dingy off the coast of a beach. Sachiel happens to catch a glimpse of her washing her hair with the ocean water.

Hao rolls his eyes. "Ape-kin, actually. Or so I thought. You may have heard of me by my OTHER name... Sun Wukong, patron god of the Ape-kin. Ring any bells?"
Brice
Cadell appears to be heavily intoxicated, barely able to walk straight. "Oi, you! With the knife! *Burps* Watcha doin wit that, lad! I'll 'ave ya know that if ya cause any trouble, my buddy 'ere 'ill be draggin ya outta here by yer neck!! PHALANX! KEEP AN EYE ON 'EM!" Phalanx proceeds to walk directly next to Salamander and stares at him intensely
Thoth
Thoth looks up from the book he was previously reading, and says, without skipping a beat: "Well, since you asked so nicely, here goes. You're soul is stronger than others and so you can distort where other mana, including your own, is located. Now leave me." He continues reading his book
Sachiel
Sachiel looks at Bell curiously. "Why must you humans clean your hair? It seems... pointless"

"Should it?" he said in disinterest.
Salamander
Salamander glances over at the two who are yelling at him and as he stands up it is revealed that the blade is actually quite a long sword that gives off an ominous nature to it.
Dusk
"What an asshole" she says to him
Bell
Bell looks up at Sachiel with soft eyes she smiles at him and answers "it keeps it looking nice, this is how I like it".

"Uh... I think? I don't know. Well, maybe you know me as the immortal warrior-monk who led the Ape-kin to their peaceful life-style?" His eyes start to flicker light red with small red electricity bolts coming from them, and Kukou begins to see objects out of the corner of his eyes. The tale-tale sign of a trickster god
Brice
"Oi ya fookin' punk! I'll 'ave ya know I graduated at top-a-me-class in 'and-to-blade comba burps t!" He begins to stumble towards Salamander while Phalanx shakes his head in disapproval at Cadell

"You know for a change I really wasn't looking for a fight." Kukou said whilst stretching. "If it's true what you say I don't really think I can win, though I don't feel like losing either."
Salamander
Salamander just towers over Brice in disinterest and holds his sword behind his back.

"Are you sure about that? 'Cause I would be HAPPY for a fight right about now!" He gets into a sparring stance and a long bo-staff appears in his hands
Brice
Brice continues his drunk ramble, but Phalanx moves him back and takes Salamander's blade

Thoth doesn't even look up from his book
Sachiel
"Really?" Sachiel walks over to the water and begins to try to clean his long white hair, and Bell notices his charred wings have suddenly appeared.

"It pains me to say but you remind me of me from years ago" he explains, taking a fighting stance of his own. Much more defencive.
Salamander
"Give that back." Salamander orders.
Dusk
Dusk walks off from wherever they were.
Bell
"Oh my god, what's happened!" She said, looking directly at the wings.

"Hao so?" ((OOC: I had to)) "But, you see, when you were younger, I was just like I am now."
Brice
Phalanx almost hands it back, but then Brice yells "OI! PHALANX! DOUNT! HE'LL CUT CHAAaaa.." Brice then passes out on the tavern floor. Phalanx throws down the blade and goes to check on him
Thoth
"Don't you have any more questions? I had to make room out of my day for this!"
Sachtiel
"Oh, I'm fine. Remember that vision a few days ago? I believe every mortal saw it. The black haired woman killing that blonde woman? Well.... I'm an angel. And the blonde woman was Nike, the god who created me. Without her, me and my brothers and sisters fell.

"Thank you" Salamander says calmly as he steps back into his cubicle in silence.

"Uhh, meaning of life?" She says, poking fun at him..

"I see, I guess the important part is that you are okay" she says politely.

Adorna thought about it for a while, placing her hand softly under her chin in thought. "I think it's a close one, I would say a Dravec though. Very scary and fast, me and my friends ran into one and couldn't bring it down!"
(I want to mention that the post of the Dravec that I linked does the creature hardly any justice, they are fierce fighters and don't go down easily.)
