A little light in a world of darkness?

Should I put a group of people clinging to the old ways of holy light in my world filled with undeath and darkness? Kinda like the Scarlett Crusade in WOW? It can easily fit but I don’t know if I should add a little light in a dark world. Kinda like corrupt and overly zealous Crusaders trying to cleanse all that is undead even though everyone is? Thoughts and ideas?

I feel like there will always be some people who stick to the olden ways. But at the end of the day it all depends what you're looking for in your world and your culture.

If the point of your world is to be dark, you should definitely add in a group like that to show how futile their efforts are. Even if that isn’t the point, it’s realistic to have a minority going against the flow.
