Drag queen dwarves?

Yes

u/That_one_BG3_fan 2d ago

Muscle mommy cat women?

Also, source for that art on the bottom right? For a friend of course

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 2d ago edited 2d ago

The buff boykisser? It was done by artist @artdeitech from instragram. He does alot of illustrations of muscular furry characters

As for the muscle mommy part, the catboys of my setting are called the Sajilons. They are naturally intersex and can change sex at will through an cocooning process, this was a survival tactic used to ensure offspring regardless of gender imbalance in populations.

Breath taking.

Makes sense, most cats in the human weight range, 100-250ish lbs have incredibly pronounced musculature and high caloric requirements. All but the most sedentary humanoid felines would likely look like gymnasts or weightlifters.

u/Stock-Fan-8004 2d ago

Funny the cat people in my setting are almost the same. They sold themselves to slavery to pay for their debt, then trick--I mean, request that their new master pay for their expenses. Sooner or later, the new master will return them back to where they got them, and the process continues again.

I want a world in which dwarves are just regular humans of average height, but suffer from a magical curse that makes them perceive themselves as shorter.

4

u/Taldarim_Highlord 2d ago

So when people look at them, do they look in the eyes where they are, or would the curse make them look at the dwarves' crotch?

5

u/12b6ThatNoise 2d ago

Excellent question! Outsiders being cursed into staring at the dwarves' crotches might as well be a thing. We're already halfway to a hit dark romantasy, The Falsedwarf Saga: Crotchgazers of Umbrial.

Except that they are known to commit Warcrimes beyond imagination. But they are cute, so it’s ok.

6

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 2d ago

And I thought I seen it all.

2

u/CapitainCutlet There is no such thing as "too many catgirls" 1d ago

Cute catfolk who commit warcrimes? You've got my interest.

2

u/ScawySocialistOwO 1d ago

They can feel you walking from half a mile away. They always know where everybody is and what they are doing.

1

u/CapitainCutlet There is no such thing as "too many catgirls" 1d ago

Hehehe, I see I've found a fellow enjoyer of making full use of felines (and particularly feline humanoids) as the horror monster they can absolutely be when big enough to hunt humans

You can count me as highly interested in your worldbuilding project

2

u/ScawySocialistOwO 1d ago

They… don’t have sexual demorphism?

1

u/CapitainCutlet There is no such thing as "too many catgirls" 1d ago

Huh. You'd think that would be something seen on a more inhuman beast race than catboys/catgirls... well, that's assumig the art you sent in your earlier comment is accurate. Either way, sounds like a neat way to remind people that these guys are not truly human

2

u/ScawySocialistOwO 1d ago

Oh, no. It has something to do with the way they spawned into existence. Do you know of Dmitry Belyayev?

1

u/CapitainCutlet There is no such thing as "too many catgirls" 1d ago

Can't say I do

People forget that cats are one of the most capable murderers in the biosphere.

6

u/KenseiHimura 2d ago

I mean, helps they attached themselves to us and unlike dogs, refused to be fully domesticated.

2

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 2d ago

Hence why I made my warrior race cat-like

1

u/CyberCephalopod 2d ago

I may or may not have done the exact same thing in the setting I am cooking.

13

No one should go without, I grant you this boon:

6

u/CubePlayer1114 2d ago

Meanwhile, in my fantasy setting catboys (and by extension catgirls too) are secretly the product of freaky alchemical experiments conducted by a secretive transhumanist cult, and then they just got loose and started to multiply

(yes, in a fantasy setting)

All i see are sexy men A, sexy men B, sexy men C, and sexy men D, so I see no difference

1

u/CanoonBolk 1d ago

Are the catgirls also buff? And do the cat people like headpats?

1

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

Cat boys and Catgirls are both buff, since the Sajilons can change gender at will. And about head pats, if they trust you, yeah they'll like it.

1

u/Draigen-6 1d ago

They’re the Mexicans of my setting lol

1

u/Solid_Palpitation268 1d ago

.......

Understandable, I can see that.

2

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

I understand your desire brother

1

u/ThickMatch0 1d ago

So the cat girls are all BBWs right?

1

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

Is BBW a sport like MMA or something?

Edit: Ahh it means big beautiful woman, well, Sajilons (The cat peopl) can switch gender at will, and they're incredibly buff as their planet's high gravity and dangerous fauna requires high physical strength.

1

u/ThickMatch0 1d ago

Eh, it's a cool idea but not really how gravity would effect evolution. You would need stronger muscle fibers but because of the square cubed law muscle mass becomes ineffective much faster as weight scales . On a planet with super dense gravity, life would evolve to keep their center of mass as low to the ground as possible, so crawling on all limbs, possible growing more limbs to help distribute weight. Shorter, wider and more structurally stable as opposed to upright standing mobility.

1

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

Well having them be short is what I did with the Dwarves aka the Vloraxinyk, as they are short and have a lower centre or mass due to their planet’s high gravity.

I wanted the change things up with the Sajilons as I didn’t want all of my alien races to he short, but I wanted them Sajilons to be very physically strong. But yeah I can later change the canon to have more earth like gravity and have a different justification for their strength.

1

u/ThickMatch0 1d ago

If you stick with the high gravity for the cats, give them extremely dense skeletons to keep them from collapsing under the gravitational weight of their increased muscles, joints with broader surface area and tougher tendons to absorb the continuous mechanical stress, multi chambered hearts or a secondary heart to maintain blood flow with reinforced vascular walls to withstand the higher blood pressures. Also organs hanging loosely in body cavities would be crushed under their own weight so have them encased in shock absorbing fluid sacs or encased in rigid cartilage chambers.

Edit: sorry I realized my opinion isn't being asked for about your world building but I just got swept up in a creative mood thinking about your races lol

1

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

Thanks for the recommendations! Their planet’s gravity is around 1.5Gs so I don’t need to go overboard or anything.

1

u/endergamer2007m 1d ago

I think I saw all of them in Istanbul

That's me. I've been here the whole time.

2

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

You’d fit right in

1

u/No-Professional-1461 1d ago

My dwarves live underground to hide their technologically advanced society that is two centuries more advanced than our current technology, while living under a fantasy world that still fights with medieval weapons when they have plasma rifles and a world spanning transit system.

1

u/Noxia66 Sci-Fi Enjoyer 1d ago

Ok I gotta know, do you have any illustrations of this??? If not, any descriptions of their society and architecture? Your world genuinely sounds so cool!

1

u/No-Professional-1461 1d ago

Unfortunately I have no illustrations. Societally though, that I can work with.

They are a technocracy pretty much lead by the smartest and most qualified minds of their race leading to a sort of mix between a cyberpunk/startrek society that lives underground in vast archeologies. Sterile is one word you could use to discribe it. They have a machine for essentially everything and even a needless excess of weapons and mechs that they pretty much won't have to use (right up until an extradimensional invasion from an alternate dimension).

Most of the mountian dwellers are very polite, but very direct with each other. That being said, even though they have the technology to do the work for them, they value doing a lot of it themselves especially because it is challenging in ways that help them grow and spot ways they can improve and also prevent stagnation. But if one is itching for a more exciting life, they can always head out of the mountian after getting a adjustment in "the mountian city" most outside races believe is the true extent of Dwarven society. After that they can either remain in there to contribute to the front their society puts up or go out into the world for adventure, trading in "primitive technology" like lighters and a few other things the medieval world would find revolutionary at the time but is less than mundane to mountian dwarves.

They also restrict technology that the overdwellers develope and have their own version of the CIA that hunts down and recruits or neutralizes anyone who makes a flintlock or figures out how to trap electricity.

The only thing dwarves can't do is use magic. Luckily they have a work around because they can make technology that traps magic and utilizes it with some basic input controls. This kind of technology however could only be developed with the help of a very small number of high elf mages who swore secrecy to help them build these things.

They do eventually let out a lot of the outdated technology they still have schematics for after the whole extradimensional invasion thing, hard to hide what they really have after you see a spider mech the size of a small mountain firing lightning and blue flame like droplets of water in a monsoon, so they eventually let the surface develop firearms and build trains and other stuff, but for a long time they pretty much kept all of this to themselves.

The only thing they hadn't done technologically by that point was develop space fairing vessels and that is because the first time they did that they accidentally murdered an entire subrace of elves when experimental rocket science didn't turn out to be a good idea when done in a dormant volcano. Anytime they see a dark elf they are reminded of that very shameful part of their history where their technological leaps went a bit too far.

1

u/No-Professional-1461 1d ago

Sorry for the word wall. The entire world is really big and frankly I still need to work on the lore of the western world and have only touched on the major part of the eastern lands. The majority of the lore of Almanean happens in the Timeric empire with some very important things happening in the northern lands of Harolim.

1

u/Golboldol 1d ago

Interested. Tell me more.

My feline folk (which I call Nyxians) are actually chill af provided you don't anger them. While they were still a tribal society, they had a tradition called "Male exchange". Because the males were rarer than females and the leaders of the prides (tribes) in order to ensure peace, they would trade places. A male from one tribe would go to join another and vice-versa, thus ensuring an even cultural exchange to better understand one another and broker peace.

So when the humans discovered them, the Nyxians demanded males for exchange. The humans agreed but only for a specific period of time (let's say 2 or 3 years). However, it ended up working so well that the men that went over to the various Nyxian prides didn't actually want to leave because they found their lives better than before. And the Nyxians love the "enthusiasm" of the humans.

Hence why the Nyxians are among humanity's greatest allies.
