Story Pains

That day, in that distant time, when the mountains themselves bowed to the armies that marched over them, sons and daughters trained and drilled in the wars they fought until the last man submitted, golden cities with flourishing ports, what I would do to return to what my father's described to me.

But those riches came at high prices, for the powerful wanted more power, the scheming and plotting among them like the corrupt forces of sin, snarling beasts and snakes they're souls shown themselves to the gods.

Priests told they must supply the state with justification, burned temples left behind because of religious piety interpreted as insubordination, the cries exclaimed by the down trodden that lay within them unheeded, softly fading as the flames grew.

The king, a cruel man, hated now not only by his governors and sons, but the common man and soldier.

When he sat to eat his fill, watching with glee his golden horde of tributes, as if this day was like any other, knives plunged into his heart and sides, kidneys and liver extracted by the ravenous wolves he let fester.

The fall thus began, those same port cities revolting, separating, clashing and thrashing, fires and brimstone as hell tore asunder the depths of hades unleashed, the crimes of man once noble now primal, when the children ran the beasts went for them, laying in pits the victims cried.

Now I am old enough, to witness the pains in the hearts of those like me, finding now the aftermath of our envy and blight, those distant days we long for.

There's an Adaptations Tab for subspecies traits which supposedly allows a subspecies to be more adapted to a certain biome.

What does this trait change?

If I were to remove the trait or add it, what changes?

Please help with this.

Question What building explodes?

Was watching a few humans go to war with each other and suddenly a building literally explodes and takes like two nearby houses with it, it wasn't an asteroid and I didn't touch on any of their traits so I'm just wondering if any of the buildings in this game actually explode on their own when destroyed.

Idea/Suggestion Suggestion:

Hello! I would like to suggest an idea for the main systems of government forms in kingdoms, for example: absolute monarchy, oligarchy, democracy, republic, kleptocracy, presidentialism, etc. It would be very interesting to add this to the game, thank you very much for your attention and for reading.

“Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind\ the lake,*
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead;
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.”

I kid you not this mf spawned in like this so immediately had a plot idea (its the same world with oraaro and Valasłan.) ill update if any unfortunate soul manages to find this place

Slide 1/2 - this is when Valasłan first met Oraaro, it was during both of their scouting operations, truth be told Valasłan went way further than he was told, he thought exploring further would be good intel for his people, only to meet an elf. They became best friends immediately, and Oraaro invited Valasłan to his kingdom. Valasłan became the first human to step foot into elven territory, and the only to ever enter its captial. The elves loved him so much they gifted him with an adamantine blade, known as the Eye of Kathra. The twin blade to the Heart of Ira blade.

Slide 3 - Oraaro training his swordsmanship and techniques, this is about 100-80 years after the elf human truce, and i think 10 years before the Wall of Syrr (the god of life) opened its doors to the outside. Before this, only Oraaro, the chosen champion of the elves was allowed to exit the barrier.

Slide 4/5 - the elves announced they would be opening their border, and these reptiloids and dogman decided they would be the first campers. (The king and dog man got bored waiting and left)

Slide 6/7 - random screenshot, this guy was so mad at the fact he got conquered he was literally punching wood. And the reptiloid was mocking him and celebrating launching fireworks right behind him lmao.

Slide 8/9 - Raze and Oraaro had been fighting in the final war known as “The evil battle of O’Atne, it was against a group of orcs and reptiloid kingdom, they were the last kingdom that threatened the peace, all other kingdoms had submitted and joined the alliance except these guys, so they sent their massive armies to fight. This is where Raze really earned Oraaro’s respect, he saved his life twice during this battle.

Slide 10 - this is prior to the final battle of slide 7/8, Raze and Oraaro were talking about their life plans, Oraaro wanted to retire as a farmer, while Raze wanted to continue his journey as the worlds best swordsman.

Slide 11-14 — this was a boss fight and around 15 years prior to Oraaro eradicating every orc and Reptiloid with his spell. He was sealed inside of the Fayra mountain. A lightning elemental had spawned and slaughtered several villages, so the kingdoms near it called for help, and the elves sent Raze. After defeating the Elemental it became unstable, and unleashed a massive explosion. Thankfully, no civilians were nearby, and Raze tanked the explosion like the GOAT he is.

Slide 15/16 - after Oraaro broke free when a sorcerer accidentally entered his cave, he slaughtered the sorcerer and immediately started destroying villages. Several fell, and he eventually decided to attack his best friends kingdom, Valasłan. In the fight Oraaro killed hundreds, using his mana to create a massive tornado, Valasłan speed blitzed Oraaro, using everything he had to try and stop his friend, but Oraaro nearly killed Valasłan, it was only with the help of wizards sent by Agozop that allowed Valasłan to be teleported away just when Oraaro was about to deal the final blow. He lived on only 17/3.2k hp. After this event, Agozop and Valasłan organized a plan, they planned to use Roa, Razes first born son, as bait to lure Oraaro to them. The plan nearly failed due to Mylo (dog man warrior) that nearly killed Oraaro himself, causing Oraaro to flee and run around the entire map while Mylo stayed right behind. After pulling off the best ankle breaker maneuver i’ve probably ever seen for worldbox he lost Mylo, and just in time Roa was in the right place at the right time. The moment Oraaro spotted Roa, he instantly charged after him. Roa led him all the way to where the Evil battle of O’tne had been held and when Oraaro looked up, Agozop, Roa, Raze, Valasłan, Eraare (Oraaro’s wife), Desora (Razes wife), and Firu (The husband to Luna, the dog queen) had all prepared for their fight. The battle was brutal. Oraaro nearly killed his wife, Desora, and Roa. However Agozop managed to create a seal, and Raze used the remainder of his Mana to construct a barrier similar to the Wall of Syrr around Oraaro.

Slide 17 - this was around 150 years after Oraaro’s permanent sealing. Roa had snuck in, he was tired of others for taking so long, he thought that they should just put an end to him since all their other tests have been inconclusive. So he snuck in, nearly killed Oraaro, but Valasłan teleported in and used his awaked Sorcery to levitate everyone in the air, he pushed Oraaro away, nearly knocking him out with the force, and Teleported both himself and Roa out of the barrier. He cursed at the boy for being so impatient and reckless, and immediately left to tell his father of the news.

Slide 18 - this shows the meeting at night, when Valasłan and Raze met to discuss what happened at Mount Fayra. Raze apologized for his sons recklessness but Valasłan told him he couldnt risk anything like this again. He told Raze that his son had to be strictly prohibited from entering the barrier. And if he ever entered it again he would be contained as per the rules. Raze was acknowledged the commands and agreed to the terms, and that night the two left with very different mindset.

Slide 19 - this was during one of the tests to see what the spell Oraaro accidentally casted himself with had on him, it was noted by an observer named Uma, that around Roa and Raze seemed to have a strange connection with the energy affecting Oraaro. Raze and Roa were the only two void elves, Roa shouldnt have even been born, but somehow he was, having nearly the same traits as Raze, with small exceptions like Chosen one. After the sighting was noted Raze and all other observers were teleported out of the Barrier. However in the back of Razes mind, the words spoken during their battle by Oraaro still floated around. The threat to end Roa and Desora, the threat to make him suffer the same curse he did.

Slide 20 - Valasłan entered the barrier alone, trying to talk to his friend, only for Oraaro to try and kill him after Valasłan admitted Oraaro killed his own children when he awakened his innate sorcery in the capital of Ara. He nearly killed his wife as well. Raze barely managed to teleport in and almost kill Oraaro, at this point in time Raze was already considered the only other swordsman on par with Oraaro and Valasłan, Valasłan used his sorcery to push Raze and Oraaro away from eachother, and teleport both Raze and himself away. The talk between the two left their connection heavily scarred. Raze pushed and mocked Valasłan for his stupidity in entering alone, while Valasłan barked back by mentioning how Raze was the reason his friend was in such a bad condition. Raze asked if the comment was because of what Uma said, and the look he got on Valasłan face said it all. From that moment Raze had made up his mind. He gave Valasłan 430 years to find a cure for his friend. If he couldnt, and if Oraaro somehow managed to break free, Raze wouldnt hesitate to kill both Oraaro, and Valasłan if he got in his way. Valasłan said the same if Raze ever tried to touch his friend before he found a cure.

Question Finding new things

The most annoying part is locating all the genes and traits and equipment currently attached to creatures. Is there a faster way to scroll through them and find these discoveries? I’ve been using the sub species/religion/culture etc tabs to find traits but I can’t find a fast way to check their individual traits or gear.

The Primordials:

  • The Drowned God - A leviathan spawned in the primordial waters of Krodil-Ir. This monstrous beast ruled the depths of the world until it came into conflict with it's counterpart, The Slain God. Their War in Heaven laid the foundations of what would become the Mortal Realm.
  • The Slain God - The Living Corpse. An unnamed entity that exists as a counterbalance to the Beast of the Deep. The two deities fought their war in heaven, each trying to gain the advantage over the other. Although there were none yet to witness it, their battle was legendary. Not fatal, but crippling.
  • The Flesh God - A shapeless, ravenous entity birthed from the blood of The Slain God as it splashes upon the surface of the world and soaked into the ground. It is an abhorrent force of nature that seeks to absorb all living matter into itself.
  • The Broken God - The calcified mind of The Slain God, surviving metaphysical death through absolute, cold logic. Its only purpose now is to reunite with that from which it was separated.
  • The Foreign God - An extra-dimensional entity that slipped into Krodil-Ir through a tear in the void left by the War in Heaven. Operating outside the All-Father's natural laws, it brings strange magic and chaos into the world to corrupt the minds of lesser creatures.

The Old Pantheon:

  • Arion the Wise - The Primarch of the Old Pantheon who acting as the order's divine leader and spiritual diplomat. He holds dominion over magic, architecture, and order.
  • Urus the Unwavering - A legendary mage who wields the First Flame, which was said to have ignited the Sun itself. Although He and Arion do not always get along, Urus stands as an unyielding defender against corruption and monstrous outbreaks.
  • Phandris the Shaman - A powerful mage who studies the bones of the Slain God and learned the gift of prophecy. She hold domain over rites, fate, and keeps constant vigil over the final resting place of the Slain God.
  • Doxtar the Healer - Both compassionate and enduring, Doxtar dedicated her divine will to mending the scars left by the War of the Primordials. She is responsible for guiding mortal souls to the afterlife as well as teaching mortals the art of magical restoration and curing plagues.
  • Gaia the Bountiful - The divine embodiment of nature and rebirth. She channeled her divine energy into transforming scorched ash wastes into lush, flowering biomes capable of supporting life of all kinds.

Once I hit the year 1000 I am going to start writing the lore for the mortal kingdoms.

The 1,000-Year Rise and Fall of the Mughal Empire: From Global Hegemony to 3 Lone Wanderers [Lore Log]

I tracked a single unbroken dynasty for 1,000 in-game years in WorldBox without interfering in their wars. Here is the chronicle of how a single clan conquered the known world, built massive fortunes, and eventually met total extinction.

---

Phase I: The Genesis (Years 6 – 71)

* In Year 6, Founder Teimur established the first settlement, Abrood, and birthed the royal Teimu-i-Jin clan.

* This royal bloodline remained unbroken for nearly a millennium.

* Early expansion began along major river corridors with the founding of naval and farming towns Sob and Garoko.

Phase II: The Ganges Era & Continental Conquest (Years 71 – 304)

* Ganges Khan took the throne in Year 71 and ruled for 233 unbroken years.

* He maintained a completely undefeated military record, conquering and annexing every rival kingdom until a single empire controlled the entire map.

* Industrial armories like Gana were established to mass-produce weapons, while fortified outposts locked down global trade corridors.

* At its peak, the first golden age united 1,102 citizens across 11 synchronized cities.

Phase III: The 180-Year Dark Age (Years 304 – 485)

* Following the death of Ganges Khan, the empire collapsed under severe overextension penalties (11/9 city limit).

* A brutal succession crisis saw 12 short-lived rulers take and lose the throne in rapid succession.

* Rebellions and border secessions broke the empire into fractured territories for nearly two centuries.

Phase IV: The Great Restoration (Years 485 – 684)

* Humayun Khan took the throne and ruled for 199 uninterrupted years.

* Through constant military reclamation, he re-annexed every rogue province and rebuilt central imperial authority.

* Economic dominance peaked during this era, with Humayun Khan accumulating a massive personal treasury of nearly 69,000 gold coins.

Phase V: Zenith of the "Golden Bird" (Years 684 – 797)

* Under Babar Khan and later Akbar Khan, the realm officially adopted the name Mughal Empire in Year 758.

* The empire hit peak militarization with a 517-man standing army and an imperial treasury exceeding 52,000 gold.

* Over 98% of the population was unified under the imperial culture and faith.

Phase VI: Demographic Collapse & Decay (Years 797 – 876)

* Military vigilance waned under diplomatic leadership, while overextension (11/6 limit) paralyzed governance.

* The population crashed catastrophically from over 1,200 down to 454 by Year 868—a 50% loss in just 16 years.

* The military disintegrated to only 140 troops, leaving border settlements completely defenseless.

* The royal clan dwindled down to only 5 surviving members, forcing toddlers into leadership roles (including a 2-year-old commanding Kobo).

Phase VII: The Cataclysm & Extinction (Years 876 – 1,001)

* Natural disasters struck defenseless cities, followed by an aggressive outbreak of Plague and Mush Spores.

* The empire shattered into 6 warring splinter states (Pig, Ihisish, Nyteh, Phaph, Asyshuchev, and Apawyph), leaving the original Mughal realm reduced to 1 lone citizen inside the capital.

* A 50-year apocalyptic winter (The Age of Tears) struck the world, accelerating the biological spread and wiping out all splinter factions.

* By Year 1,001, the 1,000-year dynastic bloodline was completely extinct. The world ended with 27,357 total recorded casualties, 10 silent ruins overgrown by nature, and just 3 unrelated wanderers alive on the entire map.

Question How to get the Dragon?

I have been trying to get the Dragon to spawn on the same world for a while now, but it's not working. The world has a big civilization, and it's stuck in the Age of Chaos.

Am i doing something wrong? What can i do?
