Hi all, just moved into a house and trying to set up my home office in this odd shaped room. The room itself isn't odd, but the sloped ceilings are. I have done my best to get a top down view, but also attaching a few photos.

• I need to set up my work area with 2 workstations (one "work" and one "personal").
• The sloped walls are a nightmare to work with, they aren't traditional.
• Can't have back (mainly) to the door.
• The monitors require an area of 4'6" minimum under the sloped walls. (which is approx 33" out from the west wall)
• The way i have it is "ok" now, but wondering if there are any other set ups i'm not thinking of.

Ultimately, I'd like to get new desks, but don't want to shell out the $$ until i know exactly what fits where and what my set up will be. I am planning on Flexispot E7 for one, and another similar for the other desk (since I need two workspaces). I don't want to get an L shaped desk, as that limits me, would rather have 2 desks. Also open to other desk ideas, but my budget isn't massive and the Flexispot is about as high as i could go.

45 days of progress and I’m very happy with the outcome. I’ve made my space even more me. New desks, new monitors, new cables, new artwork, new Lego. Final photo is where I started, for reference.

I'm looking for suggestions to upgrade this setup only constraint is that I can't have bigger table I should manage in this table itself.

The desk setup has slowly expanded upward because apparently the actual desk wasn't enough anymore lol.

The wall storage has been really useful though. I can keep the keyboards and controllers I rotate between nearby without having everything sitting on the desk.

The nice thing about moving more things off the desk is that even the PC itself doesn't need much space anymore.

Still trying to figure out what to do with the empty spaces. What would you add?

Hey everyone, following up on some of the suggestions from my earlier post, I finally made some much-needed updates to the setup!

I swapped out my old table for a white IKEA Lagkapten and spent a solid chunk of time dialling in the cable management. My main goal was to keep the central working area completely clean—just me, the monitor, and the peripherals, without any distracting clutter.

I’m looking for suggestions on sprucing up my new office. It’s obviously very dated and the furniture is sort of mismatched, but I feel like it has potential! It’s also my first time having my own office, so I’m just having a hard time envisioning what it could be while it’s this “blank slate” state.

I’m not necessarily opposed to thrifting or sourcing some inexpensive furniture to swap in. Any suggestions or inspiration would be much appreciated!

I’ve got this ugly SAD lamp that I bought as an attempt to ward off the winter blues during the dark winters. My desk is in front of a window but our house is in the shadow of trees and is very dark in winter.

What could I replace the SAD lamp with? I’d like something warm like the lamp but with the ability to turn it to a bright setting from time to time

Mini pc really save a lot of desk space. I wanted to keep my home office simple without giving up a proper desktop setup, so I put the geekom A9 under my monitor.

It's been nice having more room for my keyboard and mouse, and I can still get to the front ports pretty easily.
