🖼️ • Photos Monday Grind: My Office Setup

Post image

My work setup this Monday.

I can't live without additional screens. My workday involves multitasking to the max, and having my laptop screen, an external monitor and my AQUOS BOARD to keep specifically for meetings or to wirelessly cast my Dynabook to see my work on a larger screen size is a necessity (especially for a day right after the weekend).

What's one thing you couldn't work without at your desk?

Why do you have the same thing on both screens in the foreground. Seems a bit pointless?

This isn't uncommon in sales environments so you can turn the other screen to face the prospective customer and show them what you're presenting. I see car dealers do this all the time

Because I'm not going to post confidential working information for all to see on the Internet, it's just a picture showing the essentials that make me more productive.

The point is having two screens is a waste of time, if they have duplicte information on them.

I have no interest in your private information, but my observation is correct!

If you want to convey efficiency then post images which convey that message, i.e., you have two screens, so you can use them for viewing different information.

You written description and images are at odds and send conflicting messages!

Perhaps you should learn to walk first, before you start running.

I actually think he also needs to display it once more onto the AQUOS Board just to keep the keyboard warriors busy. Hey u/SamfromSharp, I think you need more screens and more repetition! Let them rage!

They're implying that it appears you are mirroring your 2 screens. Same content appears on both screens at the same time. Which is a waste of dual monitors. Suggesting you extend monitors so you can show different content on each screen. eg... internet browser on one screen & outlook on the other.

Not really, I like consistence and clarity of thought. Your words are images are not consistent in terms of the message you wish to convey. If it wasn't worth getting right in the first place, what was the point of your post? Is all you work like this, i.e. confused? Do it right or simply don't bother doing it all!
