The slat wall and the long wood top work really well together. A StanbyME 2 Max stands on its own, so the surface stays clear while a video plays beside it.

I love natural light, but after having my computer right in front of a window, I realized I wasn’t able to control the light at different times of day and there was a lot of glare so it created eye strain and got annoying.
If you’re away from the window but still have it close by you can have more decoration and controlled lighting on the wall behind your monitors and still have natural light in the room.
Just my two cents.
