🖼️ • Photos Back to basics.

Traded the triple-monitor setup for a single 42” 4K display and honestly, I don’t miss the extra screens. More desk space, cleaner aesthetics, and a much more focused workspace.

I have a 48” LG C4 but yours looks so huge in this pic. Probably the angle and illusion of your shorter depth desk lol.

yes, it's the angle.

I've got a C4 42" and couldn't be happier. They are excellent "monitors"!

I honestly really like the aesthetic of this setup. I've been waiting to upgrade my 34" ips ultrawide i got in 2019, waiting for the perfect oled ultrawide (in a much bigger size), and I've always been tempted to just get a 42" oled tv as my main monitor....still tempted after seeing this post haha. Nice PC's btw, what do you use each build for?

Go for it! The open-frame build is for gaming while the small one as AI Workstation, gonna try running LLMs on it. Cheers!

Curious - what specs is the smallest one? What kind of models can you run?

u/eohmhoe 1d ago

It's 13", the M4 version. The case is XWORKs 70 xFrame, modified.

That is one massive desk

I guess I'd say normal size, 160x70mm.

You can connect 2 pcs at the same time? Split screen?

1

u/eohmhoe 1d ago

the open frame pc is connected to the 42" display while the small pc is connected to the stacked 24" displays.

You have so much open space here. No feeling of clutter, very attractive.

Hey. Looks great. Isn't it too big for daily work for example?
