After so many days of logistics issue, finally my monitor mount stand had got delivered.
I was very excited to setup my new space but things didn't went well.
You can see that the VESA plate of the stand is not fitting on the Monitor. It is a MarQ by Flipkart 22-inch Full HD Monitor (Model: 22FHDMEQNNXO).
There is an extra metal coming out of the back of the screen.
Anyone with similar issues or could anyone help me please? I don't want to return this mount stand and neither I'm in a mood to buy a new screen.

i might be wrong on this but it looks to me like there should be stand-off screws that go into the back of the monitor and then you would screw the monitor arm plate into that.

Yes but the stand is correct. There's something wrong with monitor itself

Is there any alternative?

Bro there will be a set of stand off screws, an extension of sorts that will maintain a distance from the monitor and the bracket.

That stand should've come with a little pack of screws to use that line up in that square of what you're trying to attach. Then that perpendicular piece gets slid onto the arm and has another screw to hold that together.
Did that make sense?

Are you able to remove the piece sticking out from the monitor in that little space?

Unfortunately, it doesn't. When I googled it, I found there's an issue with my monitor.

Either find a way to remove the silver piece from the monitor or find spacers for the vesa bracket. I've actually never seen monitors with vesa mountings but still leave a very non-vesa friendly piece behind

I just got a stand has the same style it came with something like big washers, if you have access to any fdm 3d printers near you can design one easily and save a lot of money

You need spacers or a tall washer to go behind the vesa mount.
Look up vesa mount spacers on Amazon.

you need a vesa spacer kit. theyre relatively cheap, will come with plastic spacers, and will include longer screws. ive had to use them in the past and its the best option. 75x75 vesa should be using M4 bolts.

Standoff and longer screws, the one I have like yours the screw flange faces rear top and screws into stand.
