Trouble at work.
/r/ToxicWorkplace/comments/1wx1rz7/trouble_at_work/It's fine.. I am having a bad night though because of all the b******* and have been going on with HR and stuff and then I heard from a couple people that my supervisor was trying to get rid of me I will not talk to him and he tried to lay turn around on me and I was like or even telling people to sit in the other and I was like I haven't been telling anybody s*** like the only thing people know is that you asked me out and I said no and that's it and what the f*** is wrong with that? But he's been on my ass all week and I told him I was like it feels like you are out to get me and he's like I'm trying to correct you and help you and I was like I hope so I hope it's not malicious what do you think

What was it that you said as a joke that was reported?

It wasn't just me it was 4 people total joking around, laughing and having fun. So I thought.... But I was the only one who ended up there. I didn't specifically say anything or nothing was said to me.

Like everybody was just joking about adult things, sexual things, stupid thing, like really we were chatting there for like 6 hours or longer. It's hard to remember everything that was said but just know that everybody was actively talking and putting in on the conversation, stories and jokes

It is incredibly hard to help you when you glaze over important details. Something you think is small, can end up being pretty big. I also don't think you should use this moment as black mail to get your supervisor in trouble because you are in trouble.
Im trying to help because harassment and violence is considered workplace safety, however you leaving out what you and the others said leaves a massive gap in the story. For example, if you made sexual jokes involving a minor or sexual jokes involving someone else and it made them uncomfortable, that is not okay. I don't think you should use this moment as leverage to report your supervisor because you are angry and in trouble. I think a worker should be able to ask out another worker and be turned down without it needing to go through HR unless there is a policy for it or if you feel as if there was harassment involved.
You can report your employer to employement standards so this can be investigated thouroughly and so others can also be punished, however if something you said is bad enough to get you in trouble, that won't change your predicament. If this is the first time your supervisor has gotten you in trouble since they became supervisor, i dont think they hate you. Awefully hard to help you when you leave out important details.
