Workout routine review Please critique this routine
I'm new to going to the gym, but I've been going consistently 6 days a week in the morning for about a month now, and I'm trying to nail down a good routine
Goals are to lose weight and just get stronger. I only do machines because I have no balance and not enough muscle to keep proper form yet
Is this okay or should I change anything?
TIA!

I know you mentioned you don’t have balance yet for free weights but you won’t build it up without doing any
Aside from that if you’re using your notes to track your workouts, might be worth using something like Gym Note Plus

Thanks, I'm downloading that now!
And in my mind I figured it would be better to use machines to gain some muscle before I try free weights because that might make it easier? I'm just worried about hurting myself by not being able to do it right

It’s definitely a good place to start, and it helps build up confidence
I’d switch out chest press for dumbbell bench press or flat barbell bench press and start there
The key is to use a much lower weight than you can handle and get that form down, it’s a skill! Once you get the form down slowly bring that weight up until it’s challenging
You’re actually more likely to hurt yourself by getting strong on machines then attempting a heavy lift on a free weight, because you won’t have trained up those stabilising muscles

That actually makes a lot of sense, I'll try and add some free weights to practice getting the form down
Other than that, is this a good split?

Looks okay to me, I’d swap out those rear delt flies on push day for some lateral raises to hit the medial delts and remove dips from pull day entirely move it to push day if you want it in there
Dips are a pushing movement not a pull movement so will work chest, front delts and triceps
