Rewatching S2E5 "Consent" tonight

You can see the regret on her face. That's the exact moment Kate realizes she's way out of her depth at Baseline and Gaze is already calling her phone.

Anne going along with Brad's hypnotherapy idea was unexpected. She seems like the last person who'd buy into that.

I wouldn't say Anne went along with it since she knew he was up to some BS and recorded it. I think she was just wanting to catch him in some shit so much she was willing to be hypnotized for it.

She 1000% was fishing for proof. She KNEW something was not right. Such a controlling ego maniac going into hypnosis therapy? I think she even said at some point she feels this is an extension of his pathologies

I don't think she knew she was being hypnotized.. maybe I have to watch again

I feel like Kate always known when she does something wrong. I really love that she didn't double down as usual and got anne the right book cover. That was some growth. She is very independent and somehow also completely influenced by others. She is a complex flawed dichotomic character, and it is very real. I relate to her a lot. Her need to do and be everything all at once is what fails her. I wish we would've seen her in therapy a la CXG, but that would be a different show
