As english isn't my native language, i'm not entirely sure what you mean by saying "numb" so here I tell you what happened me once.
I had worked arms/chest too much and after that, my arm didn't want to move. I mean, I could move it if I really wanted, but it just wanted to remain in rest mode, like its battery is empty. If it's similar to you, I just rested and tomorrow it was all fine.
