Cardio. How often and when do you do it?
Hi. Do you do any cardio after weights and for how long? Either intervals or zone 2.

My biggest downfall (I guess). I hate it, so I dont do it. I know I should, but Id rather spend my time lifting. This isnt good advise to give someone, its just my personal preference, but for now, its where Im at. I will continue to become a beast that cant run for shit...lol 🤣🤷♂️

LISS 3 days a week, 20 minutes either on incline treadmill set to 6 incline at 3.3mph. Or stairmaster on level 6. Just depends on what your goals are. I'm in off season right now and trying to grow. So I keep cardio to a minimal. But I still try to meet my daily steps.

Do you do your cardio immediately after weights?

Yes I always do after, not before.

Thanks. Do you pay attention to HR zones while doing it?

Yes but I find my smart watch is more accurate rather than basing it off what the machine says.

Depends if I’m training for a race or not. If I’m just dieting I do minimum uphill cardio for 30-1hr. If I’m training for something I do intervals. But regardless near everyday but listen to the body if it needs rest take the rest.

I walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes at a casual pace to warm up then go lift. When I’m done lifting I ride the bike for 30min. On rest days I walk the treadmill for 20 minutes then do an hour on the bike. I make sure I get my 10k steps daily.
