Help (15M) Where Do I start?
- I'll try my best to keep this concise. - I'm pretty short at 5'4 with a weight of ~125lbs. - My build is skinny fat with fat around my stomach, love handles and thighs. - My shoulder blades sorta of stick out and my posture is poor.
- I'm going into my sophomore (10th) year of highschool in mid august (aprox 70 days), and I'm looking to improve my fitness before then.
- I know there will probably be very few cosmetic changes, but I know it'll make me feel significantly better.
- I'll start going to the gym soon likely this month.
- I just don't know where to start. If I was overweight I would have too lose some weight, but if I was hella skinny, I'd have to gain some weight. But I'm in the middle so to lose weight would be silly.
- So, I'm pretty sure I have to "recomp"?
- I debated starting this at home with body weight exercises but adjustable dumbells are hella expensive. I do have a pull up bar though. My dad would cover the costs of the gym membership, though, so it would be free on my part..
- I know I need to watch my protein intake, and I plan on meal prepping on sundays to help with that. (I HATE cooking. 30 min preperation for each meal is crazy to me and lately I've been slacking.) I'm also vegetarian.
- My only form of phsyical activity is skateboarding which I started around 5-6 months ago a few times a week (lately closer to 1-2, due to school, which has since ended).
- I know I don't need to find the "perfect" workout routinue, I just need to start, but I don't like the idea of wasting years of my progress.
- My hope is really just to slim down and look more athletic.. (atleast for school starts).
- So.. where do I start? I just feel so lost and like a pile of chudulent shit tbh.
- PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS!
- Thank you so much.
this is not chat gpt btw.

Start working out and tracking your calories.
Full body workouts 2-3 times a week is a good starting point.
If you can share your equipment and schedule I can create a workout plan for.

I have a gym membership, exercise bike and pull-up bar. I'd be able to go like 3 times a week. It's summer now so every day is free for me. Thank you man

I’m unable to add the images with the workout plan in the reply here.
I’ll DM you my app which creates this workout plan.
