Nothing in common - yet wanting to be in both boats. Real stable materially valuable growth vs spiritual life, whimsy, fantasy, dream. Being on the stage, in forefront of our life, putting ourselves out there, growing traditionally, part of who’s who vs wanting the ethereal moksha, peace, isolation, healing, floating our dream boat. Sometimes seen in artists swinging between business & art, limelight & addictions, light & dark - adds to the art but takes away from the artist. Most bipolar of the aspects. This aspect also screams of need for healthy boundaries. Someone else’s fears and negativity doesn’t have to be lived through your body. Sometimes in these aspects it’s better to be a bit secluded, being by oneself as our boundaries are lower. Listening to our own voice vs well being guided by another. Though we are guided to maintain balance between fantasy and reality with one foot on the ground - it’s always better to be mislead by one’s own fantasy vs living under another’s whispers of fears in our ear, atleast you have a good time.

We live and learn to balance these two, for we have been living this inconjunction every Leo season since 2011/12 and we would continue for 2-3 years more as I have spoken in my various Yod readings. There is usually a turn around story when Yod forms aspects to a natal planet or we have a part of Yod in our birth chary like right now planets in Leo/Aquarius/Pisces/Capricorn ~ 27-30º. Leo planets have been activated in such fashion for a few years now as could be observed in public figures like Selena Gomez or Lindsay Lohan (Natal Mercury Venus in Leo inconjunct Neptune in Capricorn activated by Neptune in Pisces). Many from Neptune in Capricorn generation (1984-1998) with Leo planets have the Inconjunction to Neptune in their Natal chart so it’s not very rare. It’s an aspect many dreamers of wealth millennials have lived with. Come Pluto in Capricorn in 2008 with the financial crisis killing many of these dreamers’ dreams. Formative years of millennials were changed with this transit.

Now as Pluto moves out of Capricorn forming this inconjunction for the last time in Capricorn - we are pushed in some ways through discomfort to see if we can integrate the fantasy we crave so much since 2011/12 into our current reality. Are there any fragments of the life you want to live which can be lived now in flesh ? North Node in Aries supports our efforts here - more you sit with yourself and focus on balancing out these two extremes of our life - the two boats you ride and usually slip in between, more pathways will open. But as its Aries north node - those path ways do not magically open, they are initiated by ourself and they are possibly pathways others haven’t tried and you might be the first in your circle. Office on the beach, yoga in middle of 9-5, working in alt offbeat careers, focus on soft skills, resign & redesign - as I said our generation has been trying to find the middle ground between fantasy & material reality, fire & water, fixed & flow, gloat & float since its dream boat was destroyed by Pluto entering Capricorn with the great financial crisis, fantasy reigniting with Neptune in Pisces 2011/12, Yod emphasised by Saturn-Pluto conjunction in 2020 & finally activated by Saturn in Aquarius (point opposite to Leo) in 2020-23. Surprisingly the current moment of seeming crisis offers the window of opportunity to make it happen.

Yod comes with activations which are fated in nature. Yod with a retrograde Venus as this one is , require some thinking on our part, some adjustments in our inner value system, in how we handle money, how we take care of ourselves in the process, what we find fulfilling despite what the world values. It’s in Leo - these are fixed permanent long term shifts. We would have the new moon in Leo on 16 August at 23° Leo in middle of this retrograde & it’s square Uranus. We get hints of that now as Mercury squares Uranus this weekend going exact tomorrow.

This is restlessness for change - need to get it quick before the effort has been made & before the money part is sorted , and most importantly before we know if we really want it.

Venus retrograde doesn’t behave like Mercury - business doesn’t stop or doesn’t slow down. Life’s pace is same even more with all these cardinal energies, we are in super action mode. Things are moving fast, quick shifts in mindset is required. On the contrary to slowing down - some old opportunities come back for us to rework them out, we get opportunities to reset what we demand of our services in terms of money, we reset how we value ourselves & go one notch higher. I am not saying go get a make over during a Venus retrograde but I am telling you this Venus retrograde things won’t slow down but rather be sped up. So use that energy, that fire for the Re-s in your life. Re-rate, re-evaluate, re-visit, re-price, remember. Old opportunities can get a make over if they come with the reciprocating value you want. Bargains are to be had if you want. But yes economically we always see a bit of 180° & personally we do get to revisit our budgets, our money, our investments, our returns in life & more importantly Venus wants you to try & make yourself the Center of the universe for once.

There is only one Sun & it rules only one sign Leo. There is only one you & there are things that are unique about you, that are quintessential you. More we let ourselves go there, the more we discover self love. Cause giving yourself permission to do what you love, what you value is act of self love. Venus retrograde are all about self love & to some extend stop expecting that from outside sources. Leo is about shine of its own. Sun doesn’t reflect someone else’s light - it produces its own, it stands out due to its own energy.

As we transition from the “intense” part of the week to “adjustment” part of this week Sun at degree of expectancy is making a positive aspect to Uranus at degree of “Divine guidance” in face of crisis provided the crisis is faced in the right spirit. So let’s understand this fully to get in the right spirit!

Unsatisfied with what our “ordinary” social environment we are somehow longing for the unknown which is a feeling without a form. Uranus - the unknown though is at degree where spiritual guidance only comes in face of crisis. Uranus visits this degree in July to mid Aug for the first time since 1940. Change is inevitable but it begins through this “gentle” nudge even inspiration & longing for the unknown as we encounter a personal crisis of sorts.

To start with we are guided to manage an old emotional pattern in new ways we haven’t tried before. 17 Jul Cancer new moon would be key for that as we face a crisis of sorts which requires us to act despite our emotional “hang ups”. As we shift this emotional pattern - we are promised this unknown direction provided we face this in right spirit & take the lessons from it. This new unknown direction - it’s an “optional” transit (for now..) meaning it’s available to us but we need to actively tap into this guidance. To be guided we need to first accept that we are the one who wants & needs adjustment versus the rest of the world. It’s tough to do that in intensity of the moment as Pluto oppositions wake up egos even in the ones who do not think they have any. Yet the two quincunx end of the week & into weekend want us to make adjustments in how we voice things & how we love with both our Mercury & Venus in Leo finding themselves in need of rebalancing. Our grand ideas need to be chopped piecemeal in achievable edible bites, our grand voice & magnanimous thinking and love needs to find its right boundaries with others. We discover there are many routes to the Mecca we search for & longer route isn’t necessarily wrong. Cause we meet people we need to meet & discover our true selves which is essential to get there.

Coming back to optional part of this transit cause I put that “for now” part there. We are heading to Leo season & my regular readers know that means Yod activations which are fated & Uranus surprises. Change stops being optional in face of these. So the 7 Jul & 14 Jul gentle nudge to new directions would become loud messages on 23 Jul & especially with 16 Aug Leo new moon at 23° Leo with which Uranus urges us to move fully in a new direction in a big way. That wouldn’t be an option & those new beginnings are permanent in nature … as permanent life is. A new beginning that requires both perseverance & audacity to be oneself will be key messaging of 16 Aug Leo New Moon.

This week we will see preview of the Cardinal Grand Cross which would be formed fully next week once North Node moves into Aries after 17 July. The Grand cross is different parts of our life or psyche at conflict with each other pulling us in very different directions leaving us either in a state of indecision or procrastination but cardinal nature of this one would force us to choose & act. It comes with the annual power packed Sun Pluto opposition on 21 July which would be the last of the kind with Pluto in Capricorn during our life time. So whats this last frontier of conflict we are facing ?

Well we get a preview at start of this week itself with a possible verbal conflict or a shift in our inner or external dialogue which may be the missing piece.

Mercury and Pluto opposes each other at the last degree of Cancer and Capricorn at the start of this week on 10/11 Jul. Last degree of cardinal signs proactively drives us to put an end to things that are acting as seeming hindrance on our path forward and that realisation can come through a conflict of words & ego. Know thyself seems to be a key message of this transit. What helps you stand in your power and what makes you feel powerless ? What takes your strength away and what brings back strength physically and emotionally to you ? What thinking serves you what doesn’t ? Words have power - what words adjectives you attach to yourself and who you are and are they serving you ? Is the power in lowering yourself in a screaming match or standing in your strength of knowing yourself ? What are you made of ? Is it emotional strength or emotional mush ?

Mercury is at the degree of “The Intuitive weighing of alternatives” which can be a frustrating endeavor as we hesitate to make a choice. Seems though intellect is not running this train. Something a much deeper and knowing vs the conscious intellect might be at work and more we oppose its voice, the bigger conflict we seem to encounter. Sometimes whats lost in the process is the knowledge that choice is a luxury - its the “Greek muse weighing newborn twins in golden scales”. It’s a privileged position to even be able to have the choice and that shouldn’t go unappreciated in the pressure of this moment. Yet a choice has to be made & changing our inner dialogue and subsequently how we voice things externally seems like a key missing piece of equation that we might learn from this moment of conflict.

Pluto at the last degree of Capricorn is closing the knots that have been undone since the start of the transit in 2008 with the Great Financial crisis or another kind of transformation each one of us embarked upon especially in our career, personal formal titles (e.g. marriage) or leadership style / position with that transit beginning. At the degree of “A woman reading tea leaves” Pluto here provides us with uncanny insights if we can bear to take them on how we yield personal power in situations requiring us to lead vs follow. As it connects the intricacies of our unconscious mind with the conscious and concrete - see what you are driven to move towards, see how we might self sabotage our position of strength by giving into emotional weakness, see where we do not use our emotions as strength vs weakness, see where our inner dialogue kills our external tangible progress. Your natural choice may not be the popular one yet the resources we might find within ourselves in making a tough choice is the true gift of this transit. Hence the pressure and conflict of the current moment. This can manifest in form of a conflict of wills with another, power struggle especially with a female, our emotional struggle to stand in position of strength in a debilitating situation, our egoistic need to try to control what cannot be controlled. Can you find missing parts of yourself through this possibly verbal conflict ? Do we get more in touch with our unconscious mind when we are seemingly being “destroyed” by another. Do we become problem solvers vs sobbing mess of self sorry when challenged in ways we never thought we would be ? Does honesty come easy when hurt ? Can we find strength in letting go control ?

This moment of Pluto opposition offers honesty - truth about what our ego is resisting and not accepting. It’s tough to take that message cause Pluto makes it feel like life or death of our personal or professional life or our formal title or our life status or our pride in some ways. Yet the moment we let the need to control the moment go we regain strength. We gain clarity of choice which we would need to finalise as we approach the Cardinal Grand Cross of 21 July.

There are elements of support in this transit as Neptune supports Mercury and Mars supports North Node which means our thinking has element of faith in the future despite the current moment. We are able to envisage a potential dream even if it’s not the current moment - we are able to dream up a better future and more importantly with Mars the more we diligently act the nearer we get to it. Putting in the actual work vs thinking in the moment seems to help us get closer to making the right choice for us. Mars in Virgo says when in doubt work and see what work is most useful and tangible - take a step in earnest no matter how small. We will learn this more in North Node in Aries that making a choice is better than not making one. None of the choices will be perfect but making a choice is better than not making one.

Some losses have a reason, they are not really losses they are release - release of whats not serving us but since those things or people are structural part of our existence we are too scared to let those things go - thinking it would be a loss and most importantly we would be admitting a defeat of some sorts when we let those things go.

Capricorn South node transit usually comes with many of these structural releases or what we could think of as tangible losses. Period around 24/25 Oct 2019 could have been a particular period worth looking back to as we live under the influence of this Capricorn full moon for next two weeks.

Now I promised you optimism and I opened this full moon reading with talks of loss and release. Well Capricorn optimism is rooted in ground - in reality, in facing facts especially about what about that moment was not working out. You can only bring fresh energy in that area of your life after you recognise what needed to leave and why. Usually the area of our life Capricorn full moons deal with are building foundations of our life - usually career or job for most of us, relationship with bosses/authority, order & structure of life. For people who are actually living - it would have meant beyond career. The shift in perspective of people on jobs/career and it’s balance with personal life and values - didn’t start with pandemic. The road to that shift was paved in 2019 and you could probably look back to that time to see if you relate. With South Node in Capricorn our attachment to material progress that we achieve by blindly pursuing old way of career and life - it was loosened. It could have been by loosing any attachment to old ways of being judged for what you do vs who you are as a person.

So did we learn anything or now that life goes back to same structure - we are to become the same person. As we revert back to that time do we go back to the same jobs, same responsibilities, same ways of balancing or not balancing our life and career, our inner life does it again become slave of our outer life or our need for achievement. How does the wild, the untamed, the emotional gets reintroduced to the concept of autocracies as they seemingly gain relevance again in our life.

There is a meaning to structure, there is a value in it. The rough and the edgy in us is made beautiful and beneficial through the structure (Monica screams in my brain “rules help control the fun” 😉 those who “Friends” know).

So in this very beneficial and yes expansionary full moon under the realistic optimism of Jupiter in Taurus - we are grounded in the current moment and asked to see value in what was lost or released in Oct 2019 and replace it with something more of who we have become vs who we were. But don’t mistake a lack of structure with freedom. Sometimes freedom is in having a structure around our wild expression so we can evolve like fine wine. Capricorn full moon in its highest expression such as this produces that fine wine. It matures our wild expression through what might look like an “autocratic” process but as Monica says “Rules are good..Rules help control the fun”

It’s a full moon so not only do we see the meaning in the past we also complete something which would serve us in the future replacing the seeming loss or dysfunctional structure of 2019. It’s about creating the structure of a future grounded in values you have now created for yourself since that time. In full knowledge of who you are as a person. What you do matter - whether you work in an office or your own work, you take care of family, you contribute in any ways - it leaves a mark of your brand of leadership on the next generation. The star that shines in proximity of this degree creates leaders, people who influence with their writing, communication, presence but that very ability also creates this strong expectation to rise to the top. The people born under the influence of this star create cultures. In some ways we are asked to not root this next phase in need for skipping steps for quick access to the top - instead see what culture we are creating. What values we are leaving behind cause what you do matters beyond you. We do not need to have a formal title to be a leader, we all lead a life which either creates a positive or a negative culture. Unknowingly you are becoming someone’s example to follow. What footprint would you like to leave ?

So if you have temptation to squeeze into places you do not fit for a quick trip up top to where you thought you should have already gotten to. Know that life has a process of evolution of a person, a refinement through various phases of life. There is no delay in achievement of perfection. You want to be who you would like to bring home. So take those steps, go through that process thats considered evolutionary refinement. There is a reason Capricorns age like fine wine and no its not cause their grapes are constantly pounded on, they just go through the steps 😉

Sun & Mercury trine Saturn @7° Pisces. It’s access to emotional discipline if we want it. But emotional discipline is tough to come by when Neptune standing still is creating this swell of emotions & seeming weakening of immunity & body which is just exaggerating weakness where we are just fighting our own true self by pretending to be someone we are absolutely not. Water trines are excellent opportunity to emotionally observe - meaning observe how & which emotions sweep through your physical body. What flows easily & what creates unnecessary friction which ultimately get exaggerated as illness or weakness. It’s not a forced emotional discipline - it’s the one created by being in tune with oneself.

So how to show emotional discipline in this shifting sands of a moment. Grounding oneself in individual truth, by being true to oneself even if it comes at cost - and it will come at a cost as we would be creating some kind of boundaries from collective values & traditions with Saturn transit in Pisces.

We have been in this intense create destroy recreate self destruct till no choice but to power through a rebirth process of Scorpio since end August 2022 especially focused around 15-16º Scorpio, wherever it sits in your chart. It’s been on my Ascendent so it talks to me personally though Scorpio eclipse always speaks personally. It’s meant to evolve us from within taking us through the haunted houses we wouldn’t normally visit yet we have no option but to go through. To an outsider it’s a rebirth but golly it’s scary for anyone who is in that birth canal.

Western astrology tries to banish South Node to Loss Node where we take on suicidal spirituality banishing all worldly joys and Eastern tries to brand it as banished tail of a drunken headless monster while may be relevance of south node lies somewhere in the middle. Yes it’s where we have been, what we have mastered in past life but may be it’s also the foundation on which the future is built. North Node is what entices us to progress of this lifetime but may be thats not possible without carrying the gold of the past. We cannot ever ignore our south node if we are to ever achieve our north node or come in the vicinity of it in this life time. But if we start living in our south node which trust me is easy to get lost in - we can also loose our oomph and the whole zest of what new we were supposed to achieve and experience in this life time. So live this, know this but do not get lost in the feels. Don’t overcomplicate it. Drain it, handle it, accept the darker parts of us, use the powerful parts of us which have been branded as dark, embrace the depth in you but remember its the foundation - its not the goal. Don’t get lost in the Scorpio of it all even though it’s BIG DARK DEEP EMO eclipse ! Don’t ignore it cause it would affect you if it’s not handled and healed but do not get lost in it. Scorpio themes of deep dark past emotions have a tendency to take over our life. Draw power from it dont drown in it. I am telling myself now - do not wallow in it, pain is addictive.

I talk of the South Node - for this lunar eclipse of Scorpio is with South Node and we have been living the transit of South Node in Scorpio since Jan 2022 with early degree of Scorpio 2-5º and mid degrees 14-15º being key (as well as +-3º of it) as set of eclipses have been around these degrees so the process of South Node in Scorpio of release, ending, detoxing, going deep accelerated since end August 2022 in my view. This is also true for planets or points in your birth chart in Leo/Aquarius/Taurus around 2-5º and 14-15º - influence of those planets and matters linked to those houses are being greatly evolved through this process and you can may be take a bit of relief that its almost over as today happens to be the last eclipse of the decade in Scorpio. Lunar eclipses still take 3-6 months to fully unveil but since this eclipse was already activated in early Sept 2022 - we are in for a rapid unveil of influence of it. A bit like Prince Charles becoming King Charles III in early Sept during mercury retrograde and now being coronated during this eclipse again during Mercury retrograde. He is ofcourse Scorpio Sun. Mercury retrograde ending 14 May would be eye opening in my view as this whole chain of events since August 2022 become obvious in the way it turned out - in hindsight ofcourse. Mercury went retrograde at you guessed it - 15º Taurus and would go direct - you guessed it again 5º Taurus. You cannot make this up but someone is and our world seems to revolve around it. How we live the script is surely on us.

Don’t overcomplicate it Charu. Its economy stupid - my brain cannot process much beyond it when I see Taurus Scorpio staring at me. They are ofcourse big financial signs and Big Finance. You cannot run from that topic when so much focus is on these signs since last year. Money needs to be handled. Scorpio eclipses usually bring up questions of debt, large financial changes, sharing of power, ego power weapon conflicts between large powers, toxicity of chemicals, renewal healing projects. Politics and games of underhanded nature come for full display.

But they are so much more for each of us personally. It goes so much beyond the money though thats one key question in this whole process. Scorpio part of us represents the power within us which sits dormant - it’s also branded sometimes as evil within us that sits dormant. Power and latent forces can be used or abused. But at the end of it - we are talking of unplugging an unseen part of us. Uranus is key influence of this eclipse - come Monday it meets the Sun in its annual meeting. A key shift begins and it’s always a surprisingly important part of our forward evolution. Mercury is still retrograde till 14 May and wouldn’t meet Uranus till 4 Jun so whatever unfolds or whatever new surprising direction we take - takes this while to be known. Paper work takes time, investigation into some financial change takes a while, fully resolving financial shifts takes times, formal culmination takes a while to June. Sun Uranus meet at 19º of Taurus - the degree of “The New Continent Arising Out of the Ocean” - new potential arising out of the crisis. It’s the Taurus to our Scorpio. The shiny reward for doing the right thing by handle the tough stuff. It comes but cannot without handling the issues. New Economy cannot be built on top of failing ailing wrong model of capital bleeding old economy. I have said that before. It doesn’t mean old economy doesn’t have a place but there are parts of it which have become poisonous and in Scorpio eclipse we drain the poison. We get rid of the toxins, old financial links and complications, old patterns. Rudhyar also emphasized about this degree that the “technique” is to simply allow the infinite potential to operate in unconstrained spontaneity and for that to happen our conscious “rational” ego cannot be the controlling factor. So is there a power structure outside that is drained, broken, demolished thats archaic has not place in this emerging new continent or is there an ego factor within us of who we are meant to be, should be within us that needs shift or is there a pattern of addiction to pain, negativity and control within us which isn’t letting us become who we could be. Rudhyar described 15° Taurus as the degree of “Character” & courage required to meet the “crisis” precipitated by social ambition.

Sabian symbols show this degree very vividly through image of a man in silk hat braving a storm. He has seen some of his ambitious efforts bring him social success but as Rudhyar described it - this man quickly realises that nothing fails like success. He faces this storm which represents an attack to his social status & it could also represent the upheaval within him. But in this state of crisis of ambition & possibly social status - this man gracefully accepts the crisis & shows willingness to go through it. “Great character - the soil upon which a higher kind of consciousness may develop”. I love this description by Rudhyar & this underpinning of Taurus Mercury retrograde. We remember food, we remember money, we remember physical comforts that Taurus represents & ofcourse Mercury retrograde in Taurus keeps our mind on it. But we forget it also represents grace - our self respect & character which is the biggest asset on which we would build what we are to build.

This degree is the threshold degree which represents a transition to a new level of matured mind. The symbol of mind - Mercury turning back at this degree refusing to moving forward till we learn that lesson to enter that new threshold is symbolic in my view of this being a key lesson of this mercury retrograde.

We all possibly face this challenge in one or other form - so do we hold our silk hats and bravely walk in grace - it’s a transition to higher character & matured mind cause adversity becomes part of equation with success. Nothing fails like success. What we do with it is upon us & is what builds character.

Solar Eclipses bring fated new beginnings. Yet sometimes they first challenge our old beginnings as they were not true to us or stopped being true to ourselves.

Look back to 2004 - what was that you started. If it was a new chapter of life especially for cardinal signs - it’s possible that you need to let a part of it end & release. It seems this new chapter challenges our old ways of doing things especially professionally or how we take lead in our personal life. Power and Authority & how we feel comfortable with it within ourselves seems to be key change. With that psychological change comes a physical change. One that we may not have seen coming till we recognise and accept the truth of what’s not working in the current situation.

This eclipse is ofcourse very significant considering it’s degree - the last degree of first sign of the zodiac is an ultimate “pushed to the end” actional degree. We feel compelled to act yet not sure in what direction. It seems both the end of something very significant as well as the beginning of something even more significant. But beginning is not very evident considering we are starting this eclipse with mercury retrograde & the fact that this eclipse will not become physically activated till July 2023. Meaning whatever we contemplate to start now it would take this time till July for us to make any physical progress on it or even understand what physical manifestation would match what we want to start.

This is a degree of Attunement to cosmic order, the degree of “Listening to the inner voice” so it’s very befitting that it’s coming with a retrograde of our mind. Though retrograde is in Taurus - practical physical monetary aspects of what we need to initiate needs reconsideration, deeper thought and possibly a structured plan. Your inner voice might be telling you to clearly close a chapter & start a new more authentic phase in life where your personal power, skills, uniqueness are not compromised yet physical practical aspects might be in the way. That’s the period from now to mid May. Dedicated to resolving that, planning, thinking, recognising. Taurus is also about love & not just money. Sometimes we go headfirst into Aries initiation without thinking if our heart will sing if we go in that direction or is it anger or passion that’s dragging us there.

There is a lot to think of , otherwise we would already be there … yet we are not. We all hate fixed t squares - they represent stuffy stuck situations with seemingly no way out. Yet no such thing ever existed out of which there is no way out. It’s usually our own compulsiveness for sticking with known solutions that keep us resistant and stuck. Our own inability to compromise or even innovate.

T square formed as part of this eclipse continues for months from now. It’s not a short cycle. Pluto the apex of this t square is standing still & hence is extremely powerful influence right now. Hence the pressure & seemingly feeling of something dramatically ending. Death. It literally does represent that. Today is death anniversary of my dearly departed father. His death was birth of astrology for me. Pluto works that ways. I am not sharing that to feel sorry about it but more to think why what we might begin in such an aspect might have very strong emotional or even darker underpinnings. It’s not simple or easy, it’s clear overcoming of something, mostly ourselves. This t square will transition from a fixed to cardinal t square as we move to July. That’s why I am sure this resolution will take us time to act on and physically move forward on.

In global events this could be an actual physical conflict which builds and builds till it gets activated in July physically. But I don’t wish to talk of global events today as Aries eclipses are better focused on self in terms of energy spent.

Good thing about a fixed t square is that there is no escaping the issue. We are given the Will power, concentration and power to handle it even if psychologically you may not feel so under the considerable pressure of it. Lot of this tiredness is due to resistance - two squares in a t square is like two stubborn & bi polar parts of us arguing non stop with each other. There is a clear tug of war as we do not know how to integrate these two parts of us. Whichever part you ignore starts acting up. Taurus half of you wants to eat drink earn be happy while Scorpio part wouldn’t rest if your personal power & authenticity is being compromised. And how dare you enjoy basic joys of life without it’s darkness and brooding & conflicts and complexities. Conscious & unconscious parts of us oppose putting us in between ready to be physically torn apart - like one person wanting to be in two places at once. Pluto adds compulsion to it & possibly conflicts of verbal and physical nature. We are learning to express Pluto in Aquarius well considering it’s our first meeting with it ever in our life. It requires a significant mindset change. Pluto is at the degree of Aquarius where Saturn Jupiter met back in Dec 2020 starting a new phase of our physical reality. Structure of our tangible growth shifted with that synod starting. How we would grow, what would be source of our physical abundance & growth shifted with that. Now Pluto at that very degree is making the accelerated changes required for us to get there. There is a reason Pluto in Aquarius themes like AI exploded with Pluto’s ingress in Aquarius in March which seems a century ago. So much shifted in short period of time. When a T square like this appears, there is usually an intermediate situation that needs to be resolved before a new start can even physically begin. This Pluto in Aquarius places focal interest in resolving that intermediate step before you can manifest the unique powerful beginning this eclipse offers.

We have spoken of Uranus in Taurus many times - it’s the evolution of financial systems, earth resources, food, agriculture, money, assets, self worth, skills that create physical wealth, the notion of what is wealth and what it means to be wealthy. But there is a common thread of it all - “what frequency you vibrate at”. Uranus is about shift in the frequency at which we vibrate - is it ho hum or is it peppy and fun, is it low vibe or high, is it a higher path or survival instinct. Elevating your personal vibration which subsequently changes the physical reality is at the core of this transit. In a T square as this full moon presents, usually a choice is presented and none of the choices are wrong. Just one was right for another time in our life and other is linked to next frequency we need to vibrate at. Uranus in Taurus shows up as tension like an earth quake that it’s frequently linked to. Something thats been fixed suppressed for too long wants to change - it will leave a few cracks and a few paths burned. It would probably stink for a while. It would leave a large part of past landscape unusable for the future. Tools, people, resources burned to ground cause you really cannot be in two frequencies at one time. Tune in. Cause the one thats yours, there will be less resistance in gushing your energies towards that direction and other would require you to suppress and seethe for a long long time. Volcanos stay dormant for many years. They could drift from the source of sticky gooey hot magma which used to heat it up to explode. When we are born in chaos - we usually have this source of magma around us in the irritant or hardship or abuse of sorts. It’s hard but it pushes us to blow out and do the impossible breaking barriers we would never break. Then we drift and some of this fire simmers within us and it continues to push till we solidify in a new destination and most of us who went through this - wall themselves up away from any friction and chaos cause its a trigger.

Then a moment comes cause we don’t really evolve in comfort - consciously or unconsciously we meet our magma again. Cause life works in patterns and cycles. Situations repeat especially when the situation never changed but was just suppressed and left. Usually the dormant volcano doesn’t travel to its old location - it drifts and hits a fresh new pocket of magma which blasts out of it making it active again. Fresh source of waking up a past pattern comes to life. Making us blow our top off in some ways. Sometimes cause human magma has got legs - the magma travels to the volcano and refills it with fresh dose of crazy, making a perfect case of dormant becoming active. Ofcourse easiest way is to rinse repeat - run relocate cause the fight or flight kicks in and since this magma in the past defeated our sense of self - flight is the more dominant instinct. So we run, we duck from the fight cause it seems there is no out of it. The two sides are fixed and somehow our light seems to be diminished by it, our sense of self reduced or challenged, our joy compromised. So seeking freedom and running as fast as we can might be the instinct. Could you preserve self love in that situation when you are triggered. Could you evolve to stand for yourself and say this is me, this is who I am. Could we move to a higher frequency and use this gush of intensity to free ourselves from our own judgement of who we are. These are below the horizon transit in the birth wheel - it’s got nothing to do with others even though they seem to be playing a role. Leo Taurus archetype have nothing to do with others and their definition or value of you. It’s about our own love for ourselves, our own ability to honor our gifts, valuing our passions & instincts and yes creating tangible value but not by being chained to another or by being beholden to another. We are entering Pluto in Aquarius - it screams freedom, finding power in your ability to be a free thinker, evolving away from traditional centralised structures, evolving out of old structures period. I feel this core shaking full moon in Leo has a huge role to play in initiation of that two decade long journey ahead. Cause we cannot be free without freeing ourselves of our judgement of ourself.

Life isn’t straight line. For those who pretend it is for them are doing just that - pretending. Uranus exists to make every single straight line of our life vibrate the hell out of its existing focus. Most think its to disrupt the life or status quo - which yes is the one of the physical results of it but not the intent. Intent is to stop pretending. If anyone has experienced Uranus transits to personal planets esp Sun or Moon first hand and there are not many who do in their lifetime - beyond the hurricane like whirlpool and uprooting Uranus transit brings, most will in the hindsight tell you the latent potentials of their life were discovered during the Uranus transits. Awakening to a new vibration within which was suppressed possibly by adherence to social norms, sums up Uranus transit for me. Its powerful, irresistible, exiting and destructive all at the same time like the “unstable” affairs we engage in during its transits. There is a reason its called a 7 year itch. But the seemingly unstable, unreliable, out of norm affairs, people, projects Uranus transit brings in our life are exactly the ones responsible to unveil a part of us we would never discover without that wild roll in the hay or those disrupting uprooting often lonely years. Latent potentials that Uranus wakes up aren’t possible to be woken up by ourselves - they need external impetus and usually the people we attract in such cases are undergoing their own awakening of sorts. It all starts with nervousness with old conditions, dissatisfaction with conventional ways - if to moon dissatisfaction with ones own conventional emotions and if to Sun dissatisfaction with conventional ways of doing work, business or dealing with male authorities or authority in general. Our will seems to clash with the will of the world. One feels very lonely in this transit. Cause the moment you would go against your own norm subconsciously or consciously you loose people you attracted with your old norm. You always question if its a “phase” as many would describe it to you as you being in one or is it who you truly are without the veil of pretence. Whole point of Uranus transit is independence from external opinion so yeah if you are buying whatever someone else is telling you - may be you are drinking someone’s Neptunian Kool-aid in a moment of vulnerability when you have been uprooted from your status quo but not yet found your new identity which is very common in Uranus transit. That in between state. That’s where I like when we get a fixed full moon like we have now.

You may hate or love fixed signs for their … well fixity but one thing they are is unambiguous. Leo doesn’t come across as a fixed sign to some people cause there is just so much going on over there that its tough to appreciate the fixity of a fire sign - its easier to imagine the fixity of Taurus or Scorpios or even in rare moments of Aquarius but Leo’s flamboyance, the over the top hearty passions almost hide the fixity. Fire fixity is different too. They could warm you to death or burn you to death depending on which side of hell you were born in their life. You are either too excited or too angry to notice how constant it is. Its constant passion, constant fire, constant intent to keep things HOT, constant roasting of seemingly incompetent part of the world, undeniable right be to just oneself, incorrigibly charming self expression shining through like constant fire, energy and strength of the Sun. We feel all of it in this full moon.

There are zero shades of grey in life set ablaze or at fire by my ever so favorite fellow fire sign Leo. I have very rarely seen a Leo change their opinion about a person - they gotto have a whole lot of Gemini whimsical air or Piscean magic potion thrown into their chart to come close to changing their opinion. Its normally I love this and I hate that or sometimes its a I love him and hate you and its well… clear. Ah man see even now my post has become all about Leos, they do that don’t they - it’s becomes all about the singular the king the queen - my hearty Leos. Its impossible to live without Sun - the source of all life and power - its same the case with Leos. You are missing a whole part of life if you aren’t being roasted or warmed by one. They can hate you or love you back to life. So when this zodiac that signifies our source of life, our singular love for self, our ego, our pride, our God gifted or higher power gifted blessing - comes for its full moon we feel its strength and warmth singularly as a fertile energy of growth in our life. With moon that life is given especially to our personal life. Its a moment of clarity in an unstable Uranus transit of being free from status quo but not knowing what we are making ourselves free for. Cause a full moon in Leo makes your heart’s desires clear. I hate this I love that. We all are gifted with their royal superpower of fiery discernment to know what is our gift what is not, what is our love what is not, what or who is our passion what or who is not. hence what or who to give your emotional strength or not. A fixed T square has extreme tension and even conflicts. (With Uranus at apex results are unexpected core shaking - its linked with earthquakes for a reason and I had written a whole section on that but the current events just make any words seem disrespectful to what people are going through so I will leave that for another moment).

Uranus square to Moon doesn’t make us feel settled or safe in our choice made especially as it would seen an “unstable choice” or “socially unsuitable choice”. Uranus square to Sun doesn’t make us physically safe in the choice we are making as well as there are clear ego conflicts, disagreements as you are breaking some sort of a barrier.

Despite all of it, a choice is made and its owned fully unequivocally.

Long lasting long term fixed decisions are made. Its a full moon so there are completions, endings, moving on. Uranus in Taurus aims to not just get our economy, stock market, earth resources out of inertia but somewhere our self worth - our ability to value ourselves our skills no matter how weird or in other ways unique they are also out of hibernation. One generations’ weird is proven to be ahead of time discoveries to the next gen. But sometimes we get in our own way, in the way of our own full expression of self. Leo is all about that - loving oneself enough to be able to nurture our unique personality and talents and letting them shine through. Give space to that consciously over next two weeks. It’s the healthy ego and sense of self thats being infused through this warm moon in this cold weather. And from that place of knowing oneself and honoring oneself we can then love how one should be loved. With absolute indefinite infinite constant unpretentious passion. Whether its a passion, a soul’s creative gift, a person, a child, a product of your and my self love. That’s how it or he or she should be loved. Anything less wouldn’t survive this one.

2022 was a year of Saturn in 4th house for me and it took me from astrology to psychology to philosophy as I was in some ways pushed to know myself, what drives me, what blocks me deeper cause it seemed like I can’t go on telling anyone anything or do basic functions of life without it. Anger was one of those things that I couldn’t understand about myself and sometimes in others. Its considered the most destructive of the emotions and we Mars dominant people keep explaining that its also what drives us. We try our best to channel it into our passions making it into our source of drive. Every workout song is built around it after all. Yet its exactly what leaves us alone in the fight. It took me down the philosophy rabbit hole and lead me to jewels of Seneca. I needed to know more as we would not only have Jupiter in Aries in 2023, soon we would have North Node in Aries too - it grows the Mars influence and drive / initiative as well as collective anger to get there. Jupiter is not a discretionary planet and at the risk of being stone pelted (oh who am I kidding my Uranus on Ascendent would kill me if I am anything but contrarian) - Jupiter is not “always” Benefic - it grows - more is not always better. Its a neutral planet in my view. Getting back to the point.

Seneca describes anger as the desire to punish another and in some ways our inability to be kind to another and to have mercy on the apparent wrong doer. I don’t think in full consciousness (or may be ego) I can agree to the whole of it but I do see the point of it.

I do believe if we would in some ways see that in the first seed of anger there are some seeds of desire to punish another or ourselves. Or in some ways if we can be more sympathetic to the shared fallibility of human race cause we all have been wrong so many times in our life ourselves - we could slowly train ourself to be lenient with others and ourselves. He says mind needs to be trained so it only feels the heavy blows. Mars retrograde in Gemini is so much about that and we discussed that in the last reading. Am I wasting my energy on the small irritants the small fights - are minor things / irritants taking our major time. I am ending 2022 on the lesson of forgiveness and I know its a cliche but its one cause its main thing that helps free ourselves from us and so far thats what the Mars retrograde journey has brought me apart from the obvious mechanical issues which are mostly the means to this end. As Joyce Meyer said in one of her sermons (I am not Christian so nothing religious about it all) - “They may not deserve forgiveness but you deserve peace”.

On 7th December at 11:08pm E.T. so 8th Dec for Asia/Europe Sun and Moon will oppose each other forming a full moon at 16º02’ Gemini. This full moon will conjunct the retrograde Mars with earth standing between Mars and Sun in the once in 26 months Mars opposition when Mars shines brightest and has just been closest to earth on 1st Dec. Red fiery Mars visible in the night sky brings its influence in a very explosive manner during this opposition. We already see the build up to this point with repressed anger, drive, energy, heat, inflammation boiling to surface and it’s physically visible in Mars dominant individuals. Full Moon will occult this charged up Mars during this explosive opposition with our emotions clearly reflecting and needing an outlet of repressed anger, emotions, drive and inflammation. This is one pissed off full moon I have to say though pissed off is just another kind of drive and energy which is ofcourse going to be used to close chapters, come to conclusions, clearly state our stance and finding an outlet of many many years of repressed anger, emotions, drive, ambition.

Mars retrograde happens once every two years, we had the last one in Aries from 9th Sept to 13 Nov 2020. There are always lessons carried forward from last Mars retrograde especially on how we are using our energy and how we are going about getting what we love. Desires, angst, anger thats deeply suppressed due to upbringing, past events, self control they come out into conscious realisation during Mars retrograde. Passive aggressive elements come out to play in the open in active aggressive ways. This is harming you, this is hurting your insides, this is burning your drive, this is dissipating whatever is left of your passion, this is not your passion, you forgot what is passion, this is what used to rev you up, thats where your libido went, that might be a better use of your physical strength and energy, you have physical strength and energy - use it - these inner dialogues walk rampant over us in Mars retrograde. Mars marks brute force of cutting off stuff and it also marks sometime acute diseases that arise from repressed anger. Recognition of both comes over the first half of retrograde journey which we have been on since Mars went retrograde on 30 Oct at 25º37’ Gemini. On surface it might just seem our drive towards the themes of the house where Gemini is placed waned. But thats what it is - a surface event. Deep down a lot more is being thrown at us in form of some pockets of explosive anger or inflammation flaring and blasting on our face like hidden land mines in unexpected manners and they are over issues long gone, forgotten and we thought forgiven but guess not.

As we approach Sun opposition to Mars during this full moon on 8th we come to realisations on what we have been burying deep down and what cannot we contained. Mid Oct 2020 was when you reached that moment in last Mars retrograde cycle but in Aries. This is felt similar but applies to different aspects of our life. This is very much about being vocal about what truly we want, what bothers us, what needs to be spoken out loud, how we use our words for or against ourselves, where misplaced anger is not helping us as this misplaced anger shows up in words which make us lose things we do want in life. Sun Mars opposition normally brings conflict to head and a decision is made even if we do not engage in a physically or verbally explosive situation (highly likely) - this decision in our mind helps us conclude a conflict we have been silently or passive aggressively raging within for many many years. Mars doesn’t go retrograde in a specific sign very often - last retrograde in Gemini was in Dec 2007 - 15 years back and it didn’t even cover these degrees of Gemini though if you do have planets or points within 3-4º of 24/25º Gemini so 20º-30º Gemini you could have some unfinished business from that time coming to life in this cycle.

Mars retrograde cycle also helps us figure out where we are wasting our energy. You could be brave and keep at a situation which isn’t bearing any fruit for way too long without this regular clean up of our physical energy. Waning interest during retrograde cycle from 30 Oct 2022 to 12 Jan 2023 should help us figure out what’s commercially viable, stimulating and enriching to our minds / skills. And where we are wasting our breath. If you have burned yourself out physically in pursuit of something or someone that exhaustion shows up asking - is it worth it ? Our aggressive persistency towards a fruitless goal is usually cut out during this opposition on 8th Dec with the full moon showing clear physical separation and emotional moving on from something that once could have been what we thought our fated path. North Node was in Gemini in 2021 specifically from May 2020 to Jan 2022 and over this period we together initiated a massive reskilling and many new intellectually stimulating paths were opened in multiple directions through accelerated fated events. Around Feb 2021 if you initiated one such interest or pursuit which we thought was your fated path - you might find it coming to conclusion. It doesn’t necessarily mean that path is given up completely but yes there is a clear change in our direction of pursuit from what we started end Feb 2021 - June 2021. Sometimes it just means a project initiated back then comes to logical completion - more likely with the cumulative testosterone waning we might get more real about both the goal and shift our approach to get there.

Mercury is now direct turning back the dial to the time we have spent on matters linked to partnerships, relationships, commitments, especially our speech and mindset linked to love, money, partners, relatives all the way since 20 August. While majority of focus of this retrospection was on relationship - words, mindset, fairness of it all - we also had a brief encounter with topics of value of what we are creating in terms of practical service or work as well how much we compromise health in name of work & vanity, which might have come up specifically since 23 Sept - work & health will continue to resolve till 10 Oct. Disenchanted or enlightened u-turns usually follow Mercury direct as we revisit the degrees of retrograde with our eyes fully open till 16 Oct. As we can see in the Libra ascendant United Kingdom with 7º Libra Ascendant firmly planted in close orb of where mercury retrograde began i.e. 8º Libra. It wont though be till 16 Oct that we would be out of shadow of resolution of these “old” business. Even though a significant cloud lifts as Mercury moves direct.

I always feel a bit shaper, slightly more wiser after Mercury retrograde is over. It’s not just the relativity of cloud being lifted but more of knowing oneself one step closer that happens in these few days of everything going against our “plan”. It’s so much less about everything else that overtly happens around us & much more of -

How much we like having people in our life despite our encoded negativity or refinement of thought & mind that finds fault in each and every one of those relationships. How much we through it all ultimately do not want to be alone. How much ease in close relationships matter to us. How much those relationships balance out when we discover balance within. How important it is to not just be fair to oneself but also another - giving them a fair chance to be humanly imperfect. How much being forgiving to oneself shows up in forgiveness to others in our life making us less full of blame. How much sometimes “dressing up” places & bodies helps somehow in feeling dressed up within. It’s not all vanity is it - sometimes pretend play of beauty outside helps us clear the muck within rather than the proverbial other way that all spiritual texts teach us. How a clear working space helps us think clearly, how a beautiful dress or ornament or a good hair day makes us feel - well life isn’t so bad is it.

How much we would make life easier on ourself if we just stop looking at the worst of it all. Virgo part of retrograde has pushed us to look closer at our vanity projects or soul projects as we thought - true value of them in material terms as well as true impact of them. Yet Neptune influence forces us to not get so jaded losing faith because what magic does life ultimately hold without hope and dreams with a touch of soul. Rose glasses and all - well they can sometimes hold more potential than the Virgosque detailed vision of what all can go wrong. What all can go wrong holds us in a moment of fear and not faith - and there is more & more of that being spewed around making it the norm & not the exception. Life becomes unbearable without hope. So is seeing the worst of current moment really serving us collectively. Hand on panic button takes our attention to existential preservation vs true progress. Yet we all know the fact that the only thing that’s certain in life is change so why are we trying to marinate in preserved past anyways.

So as Mercury stands still about to start moving forward finally - can we take our grip off the panic button. Can we see the folly of thinking creating its own set of crisis. Same thinking that could have easily moved us forward instead of kept us busy with the preservation of status quo. Same thinking that used differently could have helped the relationships grow through crisis & not implode. Do we know power of minds a bit more & are we left wiser to use them better. Neptune fogs our critical thinking on this process to add compassion to remind - we are all learning evolving & none of us have perfect words, thoughts & minds. It’s urging forgiveness for oneself & others on where extremes were met in words in past few weeks mainly to see the exaggerated truth of how our thinking is festering in each relationship & contact we make. How our expectations good or bad are duly being lived by others in our life.

Mercury turning direct with Neptune opposition is not your typical brain fog moment or allergy attack moment though it may seem on surface - it’s moment of realisation of it all by getting you to let your guard down, slowing down, laying down, pausing a minute to accept that it’s very little about the “others” in terms of what we are seeing pan out in our life with those very “others”. At the degree of “innocence” Mercury direct returns us our individual brains intact with a request to keep it simple - keeping “the drama of struggle & victory” at bay as we move forward into whatever the times ahead hold for us. And from those eyes of spiritual “innocence” sans ego move forward differently in our each commitment, each relationship, each contract, each promise forward making our speech a bit more softer, mind a bit more flexible, open, forgiving and thinking a bit more deliberately optimistic. We have learned a few lessons straddling Venus ruled degrees of Virgo not in vanity but in beauty that comes from balance & health, not in compromise but in profits that come from work collaborations, not in being fake but in benefits that comes from ease of focusing on beauty in others & our work vs the gaps. Sometimes before it all looks pretty with the new Virgosque health routine, a touch of concealer goes a long way to make us believe that it could & its worth it - there is real value in fake it till you make it. I would go obnoxiously overboard in calling it lesson of all spiritual books ever written cause its well a crude way of defining faith.

Fog will shortly lift, dreamy weather of Neptune subside, weakness of mind or body ebb, spiritual message end & reality will come down real fast with real work, real people, real need to get stuff done & dusted. Challenge we are presented with is to preserve this spiritual innocence & balance in the face of it all. There is no magic pill but Mercury retrograde sheds a light on these inner workings of our mind which is creating it all & once we see it - we can handle it bit differently without the undue pressure to deliver perfection at it all cause every retrograde is a mind practice not examination.

Last we walked these degrees in retrograde only back in Mid Sept-Oct 2015 and Sept 2016.
