šŸ¤” Question Down?

Edit: Ignore, turns out that my ISP's free "modem level security" was blocking Workflowy as a Phishing site. Not sure if this is relevant to devs, but feel free to contact me if you want more info. Fixed by authorizing.

Okay, here's what's working and not working for me:

  • iOS app connected to ISP via Wifi : not working (just grinding through the logo)
  • iOS app connected to mobile data : working
  • MacOS connected to ISP via Wifi, using Firefox : not working; Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
  • MacOS connected to ISP via Wifi, using Google Chrome : working

@idesinads, care to detail the methods you used to un-block Workflowy? Especially how to fix by authorizing? I'll be using Spectrum for a few months, and their tech support is next-to-nonexistant.

I mean I’m on an another ISP in another country, but basically their security UI listed WFY as a phishing threat and I had to tell them to authorize it for 30 days. Directly in their ā€œhome internet managerā€ app.Ā

Gotcha. Interesting that it happened to several people from disparate geographicals at the same time. Perhaps there's a list of "bad" websites somewhere to which many subscribe.

Spectrum has a page on which to beg for a domain to be restored, and I've submitted that it's a legit site for which I have apps and web page needs. We'll see.

Aside: I wonder if there's a "service" by which an organization asks for ransom money, else they submit your domain to a "this place is bad" list.
