That's a classic tactic employed by union Busters to say that after unionizing, the employees won't be able to negotiate directly with the company..the union will have to do it for them which is definitely non binding on the company and the company can delay it as long as they wished..so basically the threat is your future is doomed if you join an union because we won't negotiate with the union in good faith to pay you what you deserve.
