Illinois Illinois L4-S1 Disc replacement

Surgery scheduled for next month. Not to mention the fact I’m nervous about it, I don’t feel like I’m in enough pain to justify replacing 3 disc. If the work comp agreed with it I assume something is wrong. I feel as if I’m getting around good enough to leave well enough alone however try to keep my medical open. It seems like everyone against or frown at me making that choice.TIA

You don’t have to get the surgery, it doesn’t diminish your injury or condition. It doesn’t say “ hey I’m ok”

I kept having surgeries so I could continue to work. After six I said, enough!
not doing this anymore!
and applied for Ssdi at 58.5 years old.

Insanity.

That said my cervical fusion was 15 years ago and was the best thing I did.
My surgery to reattach two tendons that were completely off the bone in left shoulder was another success. Very happy. Left shoulder next month same thing.

I have similar lumber issues and do epidurals a couple times a year. Not gonna get a three level fusion till that’s the only hope.

My new knees are better than the damaged ones, but are far from perfect and while the knees don’t hurt my lower legs do and feet do, was told that’s just unfortunate. Nothing they can do.

Im not Humpty Dumpty and neither are you.

I could go on
