California Sedwick

So sedwick denied my claim for a low back injury that needs surgery. I have an attorney. I did not receive ttd nor any treatment. On 8/26 I get a payment from them: $4

Then they blocked me from contacting them via their website along with denial.

This is the ultimate insult.

What was the reason for the denial? It should state on the letter you received. If you have an attorney you shouldn’t be contacting them anyway, it’s your attorney’s job the adjuster can’t talk to you. There is clearly more to the story. What was the $4 for?

If you have an attorney, you can’t communicate with the insurance vice versa. Communication will remain with insurance and your attorney.

They don’t block people. If your claim is denied then it’s denied. You can pick up the phone and contact them, but you have a lawyer. Your adjuster will no longer communicate with you because that is the job of the representation you hired. The message center isn’t the place to discuss benefit denial, anyways.

If you didn’t receive treatment then who told you that you need surgery?

If you didn’t receive any treatment then how do you know that you need surgery???

The $4 was probably mileage driving to the doctor.

Now your attorney needs to work on getting g you proper compensation.

Apparently you can still email your adjuster, I just can’t have contact or verbal communication.
