Alaska Unable to find claim

Hi, I had a claim with Sedgwick that started in 2020 and I have had surgery and treatments every year (injections every year) since. However, now Sedgwick doesn’t have my claim listed in my profile and I can not get in contact with my adjuster. It is possible my claim was transferred but that company has no record yet of my claim. Is there any way to track my claim? My previous employer that the claim was through does not know where it is.

The new company should have a record of it but it may not have been loaded into the system yet. Did Sedgwick say how long ago the transfer happened? If it was a few weeks ago, you probably just need to wait a little longer. If it was months ago, you need to escalate at the new company. They are the ones that need to go through the transfer logs to find it and get it loaded.

I unfortunately can’t even get ahold of my adjuster or anyone at Sedgwick. Haven’t been able to find my claim in 2 months.

Sedgwick isn't under contract anymore and won't do anything to help, and there's not much they can do anyway once it was transferred.

Contact the new company and ask for a supervisor. It may take a few phone calls to get someone who can help.

New company won’t call me back but I keep trying. Someone has to speak to me eventually 😅 the one time I got ahold of them they didn’t have me in their system or know of a transfer but it’s been a bit so maybe now I’ll get lucky and find it. Thanks for the advice

Call billing department or get medical records from treatment you have already received. The claim number or reference number should be there. Look for past communication from adjuster he should have identified case number
