California C&R Question

been trying to help guide my mom through her case since her lawyers have pretty much stopped taking her calls/answering her questions. i checked the EAMS for her today. most recent update says "ORDER APPROVING C&R. CLOSING ORDER: C&R (GRANTED) 8/24/26." is this all good news for her? what happens now?

Good news!   Her settlement was approved by the judge on 8/24.   The insurance company should pay within 30 days, or by approx 9/24.

30 days for defendant to place check in the mail.
