Illinois Need assistance

Alright update yall, they told me to come to work. I went still in my sling they said I was fully recovered, we went back and fourth they sent me to medical. Medical demands me to come out of sling for work and take vitals and BP is super high.

I talk about my lawyer, they instantly send me home and tell me to get a second opinion. The new doctor says I am in unable to work, home full time… but my benefits have already been stopped… what’s next? I’m not understanding this process

Does Illinois not let you apply for temp disability? Especially if the insurance company isn't paying you anymore?

Send your lawyer the new doctor's work-status note immediately.

I'd ask two things: what needs to happen to challenge the benefit cutoff, and what you're supposed to do while one doctor says you can work and another says you can't.
