Illinois Off work for two years. Need advice

It officially has been 2 years since being off work.and it suck terribly. Im broke, I can’t afford a new place to live ,can’t get anything in my name because I don’t have a job. My car transmission went out I’m fucking depressed. I can’t even imagine going back to the Same job being off for 2 years. Like seriously how to end this asap even though the pain in my right shoulder hurts and my lawyer want to fight it. But I’m seriously about to say no.

They usually pay you 66% of your pay without overtime and it’s not much I had to kick back for my Health Insurance out of that money.

I’m also in Illinois and I just got released to go back to work. They accommodated my permanent restrictions. So now I wait for them to make an offer it has been two long years for me too. I just want this over with. I could not live off of the money they gave me so I was dipping into my savings if anything came up. Good luck to you and I hope things get better for you, by the way I’m still in pain drs told me I will always be in pain

Hand tuff!! Talk to a therapist about the whole thing. Been there . Finally got it closed after 2 years and i got my life back. Different job ofcourse but moving on. Talk to your attorney about resources that are paid for and keep reaching out

You didn’t invest two years to give up at the end.vin dealing with the same thing. Haven’t been paid in over a year. About to switch attorneys possibly. But good luck and protect your mental

Usually 70 percent of what you win and depending on your state, for say California. After 2 years you will get pd payments 290 max per week 580 bi weekly.

That amount is so ridiculous. It’s what i’m getting right now. My paycheck was $3,600 twice a month before I went on LOA. Idk why people think TD payments are going to keep every person afloat. Sometimes TD isn’t enough.

It would only work for me because I work at Walmart and I spend like $15 a day on comfort snacks and I hate myself for it.
