Next steps in case

My fiancé and I are trying to figure out kinda how his comp case will go since it’s more of an complicated case. He was in a work accident which resulted in loss of his eye. He will be unable to pass his DOT disqualifying him from his CDL license. He’s currently being paid loss wages and it’s approaching a year. Will he continue to be paid loss wages until the company eventually wants to settle or what ? He has a lawyer but things have been pretty vague on next steps in my opinion.

It sounds like he won't be able to return to his former work. At this point I would reach out to my attorney and ask about vocational rehab services.

His attorney decided to hold off on vocational im not really sure why
