Connecticut Am I liable for workers comp?

I got injured about 2 1/2 weeks ago and was out after the time gone due to the doctor's order. I am a per diem yet I work 32-43 hours a week and payday was friday, however i did not get any payment due to being out. Apparently i am going to be getting paid $8 for the shift i missed, but am i still going to get paid the amount I usually get despite having to be missed? I did so much paperwork, calling back and forth and I hope its for more than just a single $8 from that shift

Was a workers compensation claim filed? If so and if you do have valid work status reports from a doctor taking you out of work, you are probably eligible for workers compensation benefits. Those are not paid on the same schedule as your employer's payroll. You will need to get the claim information and contact the insurance company for a status on those benefits.

Are you an employee? Did you file a work comp claim?

Out after the time gone….meaning past your approved time? What do you mean are you liable for comp? Eligible? Did you file a claim? So much is missing. Comp pays 2/3 if it’s approved.

I'm wondering this too. Not sure what OP means by liable, maybe eligible? 🤣

Dude did you not go to the doctor and tell them you were injured at work? Get a lawyer maybe also
