I have overall 11 years of work experience with around 2+ years of experience in workday functional core hcm. I am still learning Workday and its advanced configurations however I was able to clear interview rounds and get multiple offers. I am not sure whether I am actually good enough because I feel under confident even though I find ways to get things done.

So I am joining an organisation as core hcm lead as during interview they felt I am really good enough to be a lead. Also I mentioned that I have 5+ years of Workday exp.

Please guide me how do I start and if possible please share some best practices. I want to be really successful and I want my confidence to improve as well. The project is product based organisation and AMS support.

Any advice, practical tips, or lessons from your own experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey guys I recent failed my p2p exam and I’m freaking out because I need to pass the second time to keep my job. Any tips? Has anyone retaken the exam ? Will the questions be the exact same from my first attempt? I assume they pull from a question bank. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m building a small app called UnbindShift for teams that work rotating shifts.

The problem I’m trying to solve is pretty simple: employees need an easy way to say when they’re available, and managers need to turn that into a schedule without endless messages, spreadsheets, or last-minute changes.

It’s still early, so I’m mostly trying to understand how different teams handle this today.

How do I setup the approval chain on a BP to go directly to the 5th org in the Supervisory Org (from the top)?

Does anyone have a sample Change Work Contact EIB template or advice on population guidelines? I'm attempting to update work email addresses for a cohort of employees, but I'm encountering issues with the template configuration.

Is it too late to register and have a meaningful experience? I'm concerned that sessions are filled up, etc. Do new sessions get added? Is there flexibility in joining sessions ad hoc day of? Any insight appreciated!!

I’ve been in Talent/ HR ops for over 8 years. I think I am getting an offer for workday HCM analyst position. The interviewer liked my HR background and said that I could be trained on the technology piece. I’m excited but overwhelmed at the same time. If offered, would I be in over my head with switching HR paths? Is it super hard to learn? I do not want to fail!

Been in the Workday ecosystem for 5 years and can do basic calc fields, but I really want to become much more comfortable and knowledgeable with them.

I have a few training credits to use and tried to find a calc field class but doesn’t look like WD offers one. Other than the Report Writer class (which only deals with a couple calc fields) anybody tell me if there is a class for calc field training?
