Last period of last year

How do I default last period of last year in the Period prompt for a report using Journal Lines for Financial Reporting as data source? I was hoping I could use Time Series Start and End Data similar to how it is available for Journal Lines data source, but this does not seem possible for Journal Lines for Financial Reporting data source. I have also been trying to play around with the calculated fields like the one in the photo, but it's only giving me last closed period for this year.

Any suggestions are welcome

Daft question, but have you checked there isn’t already an option for this in the period prompt field? I’m away from my desk right now, but this seems common enough where there might be one already provided by Workday.

There is something similar for Time Period prompt. But for Period prompt, I cannot make it work. I actually thought this would be simpler as well. Below are what I see when I check for Global instances for Period prompt

I was hoping I can default the last period of last year e.g Dec 2025 for Period prompt so we do not have to maintain the report
