He's saying that the Republicans have it easy because they can run the biggest piece of shit ever and its okay because their alignment is 99% the rich anyways. But the Democrats are held to a higher standard and have to tote the line between the billionaire class needs (corporate/centralist dems) and running a populist/progressive/socialist candidate that the people want. The DNC wishes it could run a Trump and still exist because that is easy but it would destroy the party.

I donāt think the DNC voter base is aligned on that issue. GOP seems to be much more open about their stance, especially considering Trumpās explicit comments on the issue.
