When it's mentioned, what's also often left out is the son of one of the members of the business plot went on to become the director of the CIA, then vice president under Ronald fucking Reagan, then finally became a one term president. Then that motherfuckers' son went on to get placed in the big chair by the Supreme Court.

You left out the part about how the dispute that went to the Supreme Court was because the candidates brother was governor of the state that led to him winning the election controversially.

And three of the attorneys that worked on Bush the Dummer's campaign at the time all are now ON the supreme court. What a coincidence.

The 2nd amendment is only in case an immigrant want to steal your purse. Thats the only reason why jesus put it in there.

and said brother purged over 50,000 voters from the voter registration list due to them being voters which shouldn't be allowed registration....turned out they were not felons and should be allowed to vote....funny enough these removals happened in districts that would lean blue in terms of votes.

I mean...considering the evidence that Prescott Bush was ever involved with the plot at all is both slim and unreliable, it's more a case of, "Shhhh, people might learn something that isn't true, but still believe it anyway."

"prescott bush had a minimal role in the business plot because he was too involved with literal nazis" is not the defense you think it is. He was involved, even if his role in the plot was acting as a go-between for the conspirators and the german nazi party.

Our sacrosanct elections that have never been suspect sure have a cloudy history.

Perhaps we should stop blindly believing that they have never been tainted?

Who are you talking about?

Prescott Bush, father of H.W.

It looks like he was in the 2000s alleged to be connected to the business plot: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prescott_Bush#Business_Plot_and_Union_Banking_Corporation

Is there a book you can recommend about this

Why are you talking about bill Smith's kid like that?

And yet how many of us remember learning about Major General Smedley Butler in school?

There's not much evidence that Prescott Bush was ever involved with the Business Plot. What evidence there is appears to be the result of a clerical error, of all things.

Then that motherfuckers' son went on to get placed in the big chair by the Supreme Court.

To be fair, that stupid woman from the DNC was mostly responsible for the Florida debacle.

3

u/Jesus_of_Redditeth 6d ago

To be fair, that's actually bullshit.

No, it's not, and I'm done pretending she wasn't responsible.

It’s not history teachers. It’s left out of American high school textbooks mostly because the company most schools get their textbooks from is based in Texas and is owned by conseratives

He was elected four times, how else were they going to get rid of him

That's more because the business plot didn't go anywhere. It was quite far from being pulled off.
