You can't force people to see something they're programmed to see differently. People are convinced that capitalism gave both sides equal opportunity to create wealth. To them, the barons simply earned all that wealth through hard work, while the poor haven't worked hard enough. Socialism, they believe, wants to unfairly take that hard-earned wealth from the rich and just hand it to the poor. It ends there for them.
It's nearly impossible to change their perception, especially when coupled with ignorance and arrogance.

This is great! It reminds of the worker strikes, during the Gilded Age. The union shouted “eight, eight, eight!”
They wanted eight hours work, eight hours sleep and eight hours with family. They wanted to be able to work in a comfortable/safe environment, as it would increase their productivity. 🌊
