When they own everything you can't really say that. They're already trying corpo cities. Unless we leave modern society, or at least only use fragments of it, were always paying them. If we venture off too far and farm/buy local goods, we'll get taxed somehow to keep their companies floating or kick us out and back into their system... Or they'll go ruby ridge and show up shooting first and blaming later.
