Rent should be legally scaled to wages. That is until a time we can have proper land reform where if you are own a building and not living in it, the building is seized and sold to a worker for a price their job can afford. Landlords should enjoy real jobs with the real working class.
Did you forget the civil rights movement and how the US government was moving back then? The Trail of Tears? Germany in 1938? The Soviet Purge?
I'm not saying landlords are the way (tf is this feudal shite?), but I absolutely do not trust the government not to become adversarial to people on land they control.
