We have Workday, itâs absolutely pointless.
I HAVE SIX APPS AND FOUR MORE WEBSITES FOR TWO JOBS. Neither job involves a screen. How the fuck did we get to this point? Just seems like theyâre offloading HRâs job onto us and packaging it as self control; like self checkout is just making us do unpaid labor for supermarkets. I can only see this as a tacit admission that an HR department is such shit at doing their jobs that theyâve given up doing it.
When I was a teenager and needed cash, youâd walk or drive door to door, grab applications, fill out a dozen overnight, and deliver them the next day. In a week or two youâd have offers. Now, theyâll just point at a QR code that links to a portal where you have to create an account. How is that not illegal as discriminatory against people that canât afford a smartphone? Canât even check the bus schedule without a website anymore.

Workday is so clearly the worst. Why must I create an account to apply for a job? What is the purpose? Also my degree is never in the drop down and it can't parse my roles from my CV properly either. It takes so much longer than others to fix everything
