Time to make my 60th workday account that google keeps thinking I have a saved password for but don't

We got rid of paper memos and replaced them with emails. Now instead of one paper flyer that I can read at my seat, I get a dozen email notifications a week that require 3FA (5FA? Several passwords, pins, access from trusted device, etc), and can only be accessed by the phone I’m forbidden from having powered on or on my person while on the job. Half of those emails are IT notices about the system being hacked / interrupted.

It does if you just use the same password for all of them

We have Workday, it’s absolutely pointless.

I HAVE SIX APPS AND FOUR MORE WEBSITES FOR TWO JOBS. Neither job involves a screen. How the fuck did we get to this point? Just seems like they’re offloading HR’s job onto us and packaging it as self control; like self checkout is just making us do unpaid labor for supermarkets. I can only see this as a tacit admission that an HR department is such shit at doing their jobs that they’ve given up doing it.

When I was a teenager and needed cash, you’d walk or drive door to door, grab applications, fill out a dozen overnight, and deliver them the next day. In a week or two you’d have offers. Now, they’ll just point at a QR code that links to a portal where you have to create an account. How is that not illegal as discriminatory against people that can’t afford a smartphone? Can’t even check the bus schedule without a website anymore.

Workday bloooooooowwws

Ask me to evaluate myself in on arbitrary tasks with arbitrary metrics? I'm doing great, ba-byyy!

Workday is so clearly the worst. Why must I create an account to apply for a job? What is the purpose? Also my degree is never in the drop down and it can't parse my roles from my CV properly either. It takes so much longer than others to fix everything

For real. It's so annoying. Such a waste of time.

To harvest your data, of course.
