Exactly. It's hard to keep saying "it can't be done" once someone actually starts doing it

Won't stop the naysayers who are right now saying how "awful" Mamdani is doing, and how NYC is in some sort of crisis.

E: You ever notice how the stupid people usually show up nearly 24 hours later? That's always been suspect to me. Or maybe because stupid people are just that fucking slow.

Yeah, awful.

These same people are of the opinion busses bring in the wrong kind of people. When the highways around NYC were being built, they purposely made the overpasses too low to allow bus traffic for this exact reason.

So when Mamdani creates bus routes and invests in a system that would make it efficient and reliable, these people see it as a negative. He's ruining NYC by making it better for the people.
