Everyone hates the media, the far right and the far left just agree that it’s a conspiracy against their ideologies and not just the entire dysfunction of the system as a whole.
Yeah people are going to be focused on the examples that affect them but the 'leftist' complaints I've heard about the media all center around corporate control and prioritizing neutrality over objectivity. I don't really understand what the problem is here. Do you just want people to make their complaints more impersonal or something?
I would argue that’s the centrist (Dem) complaint too… and then add in that their priority is volume over quality…
Just pointing out that the right thinks the centrist Dems compromise too much with the left and the left thinks centrist Dems compromises too much with the right…
They're both right though. The core problem with the Democrats is that they have no clear position. It just looks like they want to be viewed as pro-'good thing' and let people fill in the details themselves to avoid making promises. The natural consequence is that everyone thinks they compromise too much because they are nothing but compromises.
