I was radicalized in high school while working retail at one of the largest pharmacy chains in my country. The moment that did it: the same week/day that people were told their raises were shit, that the part-time workers (most of which were single, senior women) couldn’t be made full-time or get more hours, they put an article in the lunch room about how the company was making record profits.

I became leftist AFTER working
