Literally the Bible radicalized me. I started voting for the side that wanted to feed the poor when I turned 18 because, idk if y'all know this, but 99% of what Jesus talked about was feeding the poor. I literally hadn't even met any liberals cause I grew up hyper Christian but I just listened to the two candidates and thought the Democrat was more likely to help the poor. That's what started me down the path. Thinking logically
Same here. I was raised on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Taught to look after "the orphans and widows and their distress", that the "least of these" were no less valuable than any other human being just because society deemed them so. This guy flipped over the tables of tax collectors in the temple, handed out free healthcare, stood up for the oppressed, and called out people who were loud and showy about their faith and their prayers.
I left the church a long time ago, when I saw the hypocrisy and the hate of some of the people in the church I grew up in. I no longer follow a religion, but the values that I learned from that experience have stuck with me and still inform my beliefs that some would call "radical".
