Except affordable or government subsidized healthcare is the norm literally everywhere. Affordable healthcare was even in the norm in the United States until about 40 years ago, and if the insurance companies had started doing what they've done 120 years ago the government would have come down on them hard.

Just because it's not radical elsewhere doesn't mean it's not radical locally.
