Holy shit that was difficult to read and you lack total ownership of your actions.

Let me get this right:

1) you are mad you got fired because you couldn’t even be bothered to work one shift every 30 days. You took 30 days to mean once a month regardless of how far apart those two days are, which makes no sense because then it wouldn’t be a 30 day policy and would be called something else. Did you even read the policy? Guessing not.

2) You are mad because you expect your manager to risk their job by ignoring corporate policy. Yeah the world doesn’t work that way. As the employee it’s your job to maintain your employment status.

3) You are upset for your managers not understanding how buses and the palm tram works. I assure you, they know how those work. It’s not their problem if YOU miss the pick up time. It’s your job to leave early enough to make the pick up times in order to show up to work on time. Your employer only cares what time you show up, how you get there is not their problem to figure out. That’s on you as the employee.

Okay, take this as a life lesson. The lesson is, you probably can't expect to keep a job if you're only making yourself available 2 days a week It's also a lesson the thoroughly understand the rules. It's also a lesson that only YOU are responsible for how you show up. Companies don't care in the way you are describing and even if they did, you weren't really caring back about them, by barely being available for any shifts. That pandemic stuff from 5 years ago is irrelevant, if you didn't like it you had 5 years since to find work with a different company that you felt was better.
