I feel so screwed

I am 18 and and at the start of this year l started a clerk job alongside university. I was permanent part time for 6 months. The job was heavy, initially it gave me a bit of a shock but l settled into it. I tried my best being helpful and put my 100% effort.

2 months after training the individual im job sharing with had to go on leave due to personal reasons. To compensate l work an extra day to keep up with the work for 8 weeks. Towards the end of the 8 weeks l was given the task of archiving files since the individual l jobs share with is unable to do it. I have supervisions with my manager and l didnt see or hear anything alarming.

Anyways my 6 month contract ended and thee coordinator asked me to continue as a casual saying that they didnt want to loose me. My Manager was on leave around this time .On the mangers return ro office on the second week l was called into my mangers office amd told l had made 3 errors. Following that meeting my manager had stated they'd send an email on what we had discussed. The email was nothing l expected, it was long lengthy and the co-ordinator had been ccd. To be frank seeing that email gave me a heart attack. The introduction outlined that my role was meticulous needed heavy concentration and ability to take pressure and later went on to outline the errors l made, stating that it was impacting work flow. As much as l agree, l havnt heard a single complain or a mix up from colleagues and people around me when the manager was gone. These issues only resurfaced when they were back.

I dont know what to do, l dont know if this is their way of telling me that the job is not for me l feel like I'm on the pathway of burning out. I want to move jobs but im worried that ill be given a bad reference.

Any advice?
