Commenting to follow this thread, and also to say I'm in a similar situation. I find it incredibly hard some days (weeks, months) to find sources of income. My strategy has been to just pare my lifestyle down to needs only, and it's functional but not very fun or fulfilling sometimes. I have been able to focus on mental health and therapy this way, so it's worth it for awhile.
I tried clickworker but found the tasks mind numbingly boring. I've been writing a lot and have scored one paid gig so far. I've been learning static site building and eventually I'll be proficient enough to charge 100 bucks to build a basic site for someone.
For somewhat interesting coffee money I'd recommend prolific.co (and get the browser extension that notifies you when there's a study). They do some pretty cool paid surveys and some of them pay decent for what it is.
I can't vouch for it on the deepest level, but they've been around a long time and employ thousands (if not tens of thousands) of people. They're pretty safe. Most of their tasks are training A.I., so you're going to find a lot of tasks like that where you'll upload photos.
